摘    要:在ATM网络的ABR通信中,基于速率反馈的流量控制是防止拥塞和保证高吞吐量的有效手段之一,然而网络的传播时延对其具有很大的不利影响.采用Dahlin控制算法设计流量控制器,克服了传播时延给控制的快速性和稳定性所带来的不利影响.理论分析表明,该算法的动态性能明显优于PID控制,能保证网络缓冲器的不溢出及带宽的公平分配和充分利用,从而有效地防止了拥塞的发生,使网络处于良好的运行状态.仿真结果验证了这一结论。

Abstract:The rate based traffic control is one of the effective means that avoids congestion and guarantees high throughput for ABR service in ATM networks. However, the propagation delay in networks has a great adverse effect on it. Dahlin control algorithm was applied for the design of traffic controller, which can overcome the adverse effect on rapidity and stability of the traffic control. The theoretical analysis shows that the dynamic quality of the proposed scheme is much better than PID controller, the buffer's non overflow can be guaranteed and the bandwidth can be utilized fairly and sufficiently. As a result, the congestion can be avoided effectively and the network will be in a good state of operation.
