| Abstract: | In the last 10 years,quite a number of gas turbine power plants of above 1 000 MW capacity have appeared in the world,with a simultanious incessant development of individual sets towards ever larger capacity with superior property,accompanied by a trend of gas turbine power plants to operate on basic load instead of peak load only.A list of the world's large gas turbine power plants,already commissioned or in planning stages,has been compiled,including the plants' appellation and main parameters,to serve as a reference for similar power plants in planning or already in operation. |
