Applications of Aspen Plus in the Vapor-liquid Equilibrium Teaching of Pharmaceutical and Chemical Engineering Principles

The general use method of Aspen Plus chemical process simulation software was introduced,combined with the scientific research productions on distillation separator simulation calculation on Litsea Cubeba Oil.The application of the software in the Vapor-liquid equilibrium teaching of pharmaceutical and chemical engineering principles was discussed.The practice showed that the methods of supporting teaching on this course by the software,not only enhanced the students’interest and broadened the students’visual field,enable students to deepen understanding to the content of Vapor-liquid equilibrium,and helps to develop the ability to solve practical engineering problems by means of the chemical process simulation software.
