| Abstract: | On the bases of a great amount of test data and statistic analyses, this paper discussed the major type of faults of ICE. The empirical criteria and judgements for forcasting engine faults are presented. The realization of the microcomputer system on fault diagnosis of ICE is discussed. The on boat operating results indicated that it is simple, reliable and cost effective. It is not only the foundation of an expert system but also can be widely used in various industries. |
