| Abstract: | In recent years, the pneumatic conveying technology has been extensively applied and rapidly developed in the powder and granular conveying field. The history and present situation of the technology have been described. The classification, advantages and disadvantages of different conveying types have been introduced, as well as the factors which shall be taken into account in selecting conveying type. The commonly used negative and positive pressure pneumatic conveying system have been described in detail. |
