Development of QXG type DTH hammer coring drilling tool with simultaneous casing

This paper introduces structural characteristics, design parameters and utilization considerations of QXG type DTH hammer coring drilling tool with simultaneous casing, which is a new drilling tool based on technical design for DTH hammer drilling with simultaneous casing and DTH hammer core-drilling. While it drills, this tool can follow up the casing, protect the borehole wall and prevent the borehole from collapsing. This type of DTH hammer core-drilling is suitable for core-drilling in unconsolidated formation.
