The Relationship Among Killing Time, Firing Time Interval and Hitting Rounds

In many shoot models, the time till kiling a target or the hitting rounds till killing the target are studied. But it is meaningful if their relationship is found or any of them can be calculated by the other. The paper considers the relationship of expectations and variances among killing time, firing time interval and hitting rounds in two kinds of shoot models (one is a normal shoot model and the other is that a weapon fires in bursts) and derives two simple and practical calculating formulas for calculating the means and the variances of killing time.
