| Abstract: | A model of renal hypertension was established through ligaturing one of the renal artery in the rat. An antiserum against Fos oncoprotein was used to detect immunohistochemically the activated cells of the corti coadrenal. A lot of Fos irnmunoreactive (ir) nuclei were demonstrated in the zona glomeralose. Few of labeled nuclei were seen in the lateral part of the zona fasciculata. An increasing number of Fos-ir nuclei were observed in the intermediate part of the zona fksciculata. The highest concentration of labeled nuclei in the inner part of the zona fasciculata. Scattered Fos-ir nuclei existed in the zona reticularis. The labeled nuclei were different in size and often round or oval in form. |
