To ensure the safe and economic operation of district power network and promote the development of power market step by step, the district electric power dispatching energy management system (EMS) has the urgent need to increase new functions and algorithms based on traditional functions. Several alarming functions for power network fault, power network abnormity, security and environment, power market operation are introduced and the corresponding algorithms to realize the alarming functions are discussed.
