Nonrecursive digital filters with crescent ripple |

| Abstract: | The letter describes the results obtained on designing nonrecursive digital filters having crescent ripple. It is shown that the geometric mean of the maximum passband ripple and the maximum stopband ripple, when plotted against the normalized transition bandwidth, give a similar curve to that obtained for equiripple designs. |
