设计美学与中国本土文化

在我们的社会生活中,由我们自己亲手创造出来的一切东西,无一不体现出设计之美。我们每天都亲身体验到我们所设计出来的物质世界。＂现代设计＂是在以哲学、美学、社会学为背景的现代主义的诸多理念作用下而产生的,从而也才逐步有了设计美学。而中国真正的设计是来自于市场经济的开始,但从初始阶段到90年代中后期,以及到了今天,中国的设计还是处在比较低水平的状态,不管是设计理念,还是设计手法,都显得文化的薄弱,手法的单一,样式的模仿。如何立足于本土文化,用世界的眼光,运用高科技、新材料的各种手法来切入设计,是我们建立中国设计的真正方向。

Design Aesthetics and Native Chinese Culture

Everything in the society created by people themselves displays the beauty of designing and people are constantly experiencing the physical world designed by themselves.＂Modern designing＂ results from the modernist ideas with the background of philosophy,aesthetics and sociology and gradually aesthetics of designing comes into being.Designing in China began from the exercise of market economy system,but still remains at a low level in terms of designing thoughts and designing methods.The weaknesses include the lack of cultural elements,dull method,and copying of form.The paper suggests that future designing in China should be based on native Chinese culture,adopt an open world perspective,and make use of various kinds of high-tech methods and new materials.
