| Abstract: | The origin, development, architecture and main techniques of semantic grid are described in the viewpoint of the mergence of web and grid evolution. The influence of web services, semantic web and semantic web services on the grid development and their relationships are analyzed. The mergence of pervasive computing and semantic grid in the future is discussed. |
