Research and Development Suggestion of Supporting Tools for Underwater Christmas Tree System

Supporting tools for underwater Christmas tree are necessary for lifting,transporting,installing,retrieving,testing,repairing/maintaining underwater equipment such as Christmas tree and tubing hanger,so they play a vital role in production.This paper analyzes the main functions and components of the typical supporting tools for underwater Christmas tree system after summarizing domestic and foreign relevant technologies,and describes the core technologies in the research of supporting tools,such as installing and retrieving,locking and unlocking,remote positioning,as well as research priorities and methods in processing,manufacturing and test.The results provide a theoretical basis for the design and use of supporting tools for underwater Christmas trees,and give suggestions on the future development of supporting tools in professional design,modular design and integrated design.The research is helpful to the research and development of supporting tools for underwater Christmas tree system.
