| Abstract: | 25 species of predacious mites,in which the Amblyseius spp.ofPhytoseiidae were predominant,found in citrus orchard in GuangxiZhuang Autonomous Region were reported.Based on the result of fuzzysynthetic analysis,the control capability sequence of dominant speciesagainst citrus red mite Panonychus citri were determined as Amblyseiuseharai>A. makuwa>A. okinawanus>Euseius nicholsi. The systematic investigations showed that the phytoseiid mite spe-cies occurred on Ageratum conyzoides were most similar to those on cit-rus tree.It was suggested that to protect and utilize the predaciousmites by retaining or growing the good grasses such as Ageratum cony-zoides,etc.,in citrus orchard for controlling citrus red mite is available.Favourable results of those implementations were obtained through thepast three years. |
