摘    要:本文介绍了在基于半导体光放大器的高岛速全光波长转换中的速度受限现象,以及导致速度受限的主要原因——半导体光放大器的载流子寿命.将国内外学者所采用的各种提高基于半导体光放大器的全光转换速度的主流方案归纳总结为三种类型,对其进行简要的阐述,并分别分析其优势及不足。

Abstract:In this article,the restricted speed of all-optical wavelength convertors based on semiconductor optical amplifier is illustrated and the main reason for the restricted speed carrier lifetime of semiconductor optical amplifier is also introduced.All kinds of solutions for improving the speed of all-optical wavelength convertors based on semiconductor optical amplifier are summarized into three categories.The solution in each category is elaborated and the advantages and disadvantages are analyzed respectively.
