| Abstract: | The searching efficiency and global convergence of genetic algorithms(GAs), which are based on the canonical crossover operator, are studied in this paper. A modified GAs is presented, and it is successfully applied to system identification. Simulations show the effectiveness and practicality of the modified GAs. |
