| Abstract: | 1020 cases of NPC from 1971 to 1988 in Sihui county of Guangdong province have been analyzed by one-factor analysis and Cox model methods. The results show that 1) survival rate of five-year and ten-year in this area was 27.17% and 18.4% respectively; 2) the survival rate of five-year and ten-year after radiative treatment was 44.37% and 30.44% respectively; and 3) factors of age, clinical stage, radiative treatment, and diagnostic date (es ecially the last two) have significantly related to the patients' survival, but factors of sex and types of pathology have no significant correlation with survival rate. |
