| Abstract: | The general situation of the 2nd International Conference on Rapid Prototyping & Manufacturing in Beijing has been introduced in this paper. Then the developing trend of Rapid Prototyping technology is also mentioned. It is indicated that there are three important academic directions in research field of Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing technology: development from RP to RM, development from RP to RT and application of RP in bio medical engineering. |
