| Abstract: | Based on the analysis of existed research work, through theoretical caululation and model test, it was reported by authors (1991) that the relative critical wave height (H/d)b data by Goda (1970) and critical wave steepness (H/L)bval-ue by Michell (1893) and Miche (1944) can be used as the breaker indices of regular waves.By using the same concept, the breaker indices of irregular waves propagating on gentle beach was analyzed both theoretically and experimentally in the present paper.Based on the analysis of existed research work, through theoretical caululation and model test, it was reported by authors (1991) that the relative critical wave height (H/d)b data by Goda (1970) and critical wave steepness (H/L)bval-ue by Michell (1893) and Miche (1944) can be used as the breaker indices of regular waves.By using the same concept, the breaker indices of irregular waves propagating on gentle beach was analyzed both theoretically and experimentally in the present paper. |
