AEG-1和MMP-9在结肠癌中的表达与临床意义

目的探讨星形细胞上调基因-1(astrocyte elevated gene-1,AEG-1)和MMP-9在结肠癌中的表达,并分析其与临床病理特征的关系。方法采用免疫组化法检测63例结肠癌和30例癌旁正常组织中AEG-1和MMP-9的蛋白表达,并分析其临床病理意义。结果 AEG-1和MMP-9蛋白在结肠癌组织中表达阳性率分别为68.3%(43/63)、60.3%(38/63),在癌旁正常组织中表达阳性率分别为26.7%(8/30)、16.7%(5/30)。AEG-1和MMP-9蛋白在结肠癌组织中阳性表达率均高于癌旁正常组织(χ2=14.192,P<0.05;χ2=15.577,P<0.05)。结肠癌中AEG-1和MMP-9表达具有一致性。AEG-1和MMP-9的表达与结肠癌组织分化程度、TNM分期密切相关,与患者性别、年龄及肿瘤大小无相关性,且AEG-1蛋白与MMP-9蛋白表达呈正相关。结论 AEG-1和MMP-9均与结肠癌的发生、发展密切相关,联合检测二者可能对结肠癌的预后判断更具价值。

Clinical significance of expression of AEG-1 and MMP-9 in colonic carcinoma patients

Objective To study the clinical significance of expression of AEG-1 and MMP-9 in colonic carcinoma patients. Methods AEG-1 and MMP-9 were detected by immunohistochemistry method in 63 colonic carcinoma patients and 30 controls with normal colonic mucosa adjacent to tumor nests. The relationship of the expressions of AEG-1 and MMP-9 with the clinicopathologic features was analyzed. Results The positive expression of AEG-1 and MMP-9 in cancer （68.3 % ,43/63; 60.3 % ,38/63 ） was higher than that in normal tissue（26.7%,8/30; 16.7%,5/30） （X2= 14.192 ,P〈0.05 ; X2= 15.577, P〈0.05） The expression of AEG-1 was positively correlated with MMP-9 expression. The expression of AEG-1 was associated with differentiation degree and TNM stage. But the expression of AEG-1 was not correlated with sex and age. Conclusion Both AEG-1 and MMP-9 play important roles in the development and progression of colonic carcinoma. Therefore, the combination detection of the two contributes to the prognosis of colonic carcinoma.
