Safety Cost and the Determination of the Indexes in the Safety Cost Analysis

There are various factors influencing the greatness of mining safety cost.The safety cost consists of the guarantee-purposed safety cost and the cost of safety failure.In order to optimize the safety affairs in production,the authors,starting from a perception of"safety levels of economic activities",and utilizing the principles of mathematic statistics in the ten years ,data of a colliery,establish mathematical models between the guaranteed level and the cost of safety failure,guantee-puroosed safety cost and the toal safety cost respectively,and suggests that the guaranteed safety level be an index in estimating a colliery ,s cost in safety.
