| 摘 要： | 作为认知语言学最重要的理论之一的概念隐喻自提出以来就受到国内外专家学者的广泛关注。概念隐喻被广泛应用于经济语篇中，经济学家运用读者熟悉的、易于理解的认知域来阐释陌生、抽象的认知域。通过从源域到目标域的映射，完成概念化过程。以《经济学人》中国专栏中的经济语篇为例，探讨其概念隐喻的分类和运用，以期对专门用途英语学习者的词汇学习、文体意识的培养有所裨益。

| Abstract: | As one of the major theories in cognitive linguistics, conceptual metaphor has received lots of attention from scholars home and abroad since it was first brought up. Conceptual metaphor is widely used in ecot~omic discourses, in which the economists utilize familiar and understandable cognitive domain to explain the unfamiliar and abstract cognitive domain. Conceptualization is realized through the mapping from source domain to target domain. Taking the special column China in The Economist as an example, this paper aims to analyze the categories ＆ application of conceptual metaphor in economic discourses, hoping that it is beneficial for ESP learners to enhance their lexis learnin~ and stvli~ti,- ~ |
