分形图像压缩的信源信道联合编码

摘    要:本文针对分形图像压缩编码后所得各部分压缩数据的特点,分析了分形图像压缩各部分数据在传输中对传输信道干扰的敏感程度,并根据各部分数据对信道干扰的敏感程度的不同,提出了一种分形图像压缩的信源信道联合编码方法。仿真结果表明,采用所提出的分形图像压缩的信源信道联合编码方法后,分形图像压缩数据对传输信道的敏感程度降低,图像质量有较大提高。

Abstract:Fractal image compression is a relatively recent technique based on the representation of an image by a contractive transform on the space of images, for which the fixed point is close to the original image. There are several different parts of data in a fractal image compression. Each part is different in its sensitivity to the communication channel noise. In this paper, the different sensitivities of each part of fractal image compression data to the communication channel noise are analyzed first. Based on it, is proposed a combined source channel coding of fractal image compression. Simulation results show that by using this combined source channel coding the sensitivity of fractal image compression data to the communication channel noise is reduced and the quality of the decompressed image greatly improved.
