麻花钻刚度的有限元分析

摘    要:钻头的刚度对于研究钻削机理和改进钻头结构具有重要意义。利用有限元分析方法,建立了麻花钻有限元力学模型,对钻头的扭转刚度、弯曲刚度和受压刚度进行了分析计算。结果表明在钻削过程中,横刃处和钻头螺旋槽根部应力最集中,最容易产生损坏,加大钻芯厚度可以大大提高钻头刚度和强度。为优化钻头结构参数,提高其切削性能和耐用度的研究提供了基础。

Abstract:The stiffness of drill plays an important role in drilling mechanism study and drill structure's improvement. In this paper, the Finite Element Method (FEM) is applied to create the FEM mechanic model of twist drill. The torsion stiffness, bending stiffness and press stiffness is computational simulated. The results show that in the drilling process the stress is concentrated in the area of both the lateral edge and the spiral groove root, therefore these areas are most easily to be damaged. From this view point increasing the drill core's thickness can greatly increase the drill's stiffness and strength. This study provides a basic for optimizing the structural parameters as well as improving the cutting performance and tool-life of the drill.
