Abstract:The cycle life and the efficiency of soft package lithium-ion battery cycled in different SOC scales and the effect of splints on improving the cycle life were discussed,and the method for optimal applications was proposed.The cycle life of test batteries cycled between 0%-100%,10%-90%,20%-80% and 30%-70% had no significant difference,but the efficiency reduced significantly;the splints greatly improved the battery cycle life.The soft package lithium-ion battery should be used under appropriately larger SOC scale to maximize the amount of energy conversion,and meanwhile,the splints should be used to improve the cycle life.
