| Abstract: | Some errors in the signs in the Summer Resort, which are translated from Chinese into English, are analyzed grammatically, semantically and pragmatically in this paper. It is proposed that great attention be paid to the avoidance of Chinese thinking, to the accuracy of expression, and to the employment of right translation skill and to the proper use of politeness criteria and euphemism. |
