美国“先进工程环境”研究

摘    要:介绍了美国国家研究咨询委员会和美国国家工程院通过两个报告提出的“先进工程环境(Advanced engineering environment,AEE)”的理念,以及美国政府、工业界和学术界对于先进工程环境研究和应用实践的情况。基于经济全球化和分布式智力资源环境,以及先进工程环境研究中对产品设计过程7年和15年内的展望,强调要充分重视设计在工程中的地位,要认识到计算机技术在可预见的未来仍无法完全取代人的作用。深入讨论了该研究在工程理念,技术发展和应用,组织、管理和经济,教育和培训方面对我国制造业发展的启示和影响。

Abstract:Two research reports on advanced engineering environments (AEE) are introduced. The research is conducted by the National Research Council and the National Academy of Engineering of the United States. The results of investigation and current practice of AEE implemented by the US government, industries, and academia are documented. Under the circumstance of economic globalization trend & distributed knowledge resources, and to achieve benefits of AEE in products and processes design in the next 7 to 15 years, design is much more emphasized in the reports. It is pointed out that computer technologies for processes of design and development should be human-centered and could never fully replace human in predicted future. Inspirations and impact to the development of manufacturing of China in areas of engineering ideal, technology development and application, organization, management and economics, education and training are analyzed in the end.
