农村地区老年人抑郁与虐待关系的现况研究

目的 研究农村地区老年人抑郁与虐待的关系,并分析抑郁对不同类型虐待的影响.方法 采用横断面调查研究方法,整群抽取湖北省麻城市农村地区3个办事处(龙池、南湖、鼓楼)的17个行政村中60岁及以上的老年人,对其进行问卷调查.调查内容包括一般情况、抑郁及虐待情况等.结果 老年人抑郁症状检出率为15.8％.抑郁组老年人的虐待发生率为72.47％.控制混杂因素的影响后,抑郁组老年人虐待发生的风险比非抑郁组高(OR=6.00,95％ CI:4.57 ～7.90).随着抑郁得分的增加,老年人虐待比例逐渐增高.抑郁对不同类型的老年人虐待发生都有影响.结论 农村地区老年人抑郁症状检出率较高,抑郁与老年人受虐待存在关联.

The association between depression and elder mistreatment in a rural community

Objective To examine the association of depression with the risk of elder mistreatment and examine the association of depression with types of mistreatment in rural community.Methods A cross-sectional survey was performed in 17 villages of 3 rural communities（Longchi,Nanhu and Gulou District） in Macheng City of Hubei Province.Subjects aged 60 years or older were selected using cluster sampling.The questionnaire included general information,the geriatric depression scale and a modified vulnerability to abuse screening scale.Results The prevalence of depression for rural elder people in Macheng City was 15.8%.Elder mistreatment was found among 72.47% of subjects with depression.After adjusting for potential confounding factors,elder adults with depression（OR=6.00,95%CI：4.57-7.90） were highly associated with elder mistreatment.The prevalence of elder mistreatment increased with depression scores.Depression was highly associated with different types of elder mistreatment.Conclusions The prevalence of depression for rural elder people in Macheng City was high.Depression is associated with elder mistreatment.
