Abstract: | Conclusion For cast components of high-strength cast iron containing 2.9–3.7% C and 3.5–4.7% Si, instead of the normally used high-temperature heat treatment (920–950°C), it is possible to recommend low-temperature heat treatment (normalizing or spheroidizing anneal at 725°C), which provides the required set of mechanical properties and good workability.Translated from Metallovedenie i Termicheskaya Obrabotka Metallov, No. 9, pp. 63–64, September, 1985. |
