| Abstract: | This paper deals with the design modification philosophy and approach employed for the retrofit of a 20 t/h forward running traveling grate boiler into a reverse running spreader stoker traveling grate boiler of the same steam output. The method described therein can also be profitably used during the retrofit of other types and models of boilers. |
