Common factors are existed in the selection of re-modernization technologies, including defining the scale of irrigation district according to the carrying capacity of water and defining irrigation standard according to crops. Thus, some common factors are considered in the rehabilitation of medium and small irrigation districts in Gansu, such as technologies of simulation of water recycling in irrigation district and assessment, anti-freezing solution of canal and water conveyance of pipe, non-sufficient irrigation, saline and alkaline control and evaluation of irrigation district.
