试论南四湖的淤积趋势

南四湖,又称微山湖,从出现到今天,已经有了700余年的历史。它已进入了老年期,如不加以治理,则有消亡的可能,促使它消亡的主要原因是淤积。南四湖从出现到现在已经淤积了2—6米深。其主要原因是地理位置决定的,必须清挖湖盆,加大泄洪口,继续治理河道,以减缓淤垫,否则何以谈及综合开发利用。

ON THE SEDIMENTATION TREND OF THE NANSI LAKE

The Nansi lake, which is also called the Weishan lake, has a long history of more than seven hundred years. It may disappear from the earth if we do not take measures at once. The reasom for the possible disappearance is sedimentation in connection with the geological location of the lake. Up to the present it has been deposited three meters to four meters and a half. In order to retard the deposit, we must deepen the lake basin, widen the mouth of the flood-relief channel, and keep on administering the river channel. Otherwise, its comprehensive development and utilization will be out of the question.
