论经济全球化和文化帝国主义

经济全球化是当前世界经济发展不可逆转的时代趋势。经济全球化给世界经济带来了新的繁荣和发展机遇，同时也对本民族的文化提出了许多新的要求。由于经济全球化以市场普遍化为先导，文化全球化就是东西方的文化趋同，是人类走向大同世界，是经济社会一体化和同质化基础上的文化的一体化和同质化，这意味着，在这一过程中各民族的文化差异性将逐步消失，形成一种新的文化格局－－文化帝国主义。

A Brief Account of the Globalization of the World Economy and Cultural Imperialism

Economic Globalization represents the irresistible tendency in the development of modern world economy. It brings new prosperity and opportunity for the progress in world economy, meanwhile it also puts forward a lot of new requirements in front of each culture and nation through out the world. Because the economic globalization relies on the universalization of the world market, the culture globalization will occur in the assimilation process of oriental and occidental cultures. And this is the unification and assimilation of cultures on the base of the unification of economy. This means that in that process the national and cultural distinction will disappear and it will form a new world cultural pattern,that is,a cultural empire.
