基于十进量化的SPIHT算法改进

摘    要:通过对SPIHT算法进行研究,提出了十进量化的SPIHT算法,同时对SPIHT算法的精细扫描过程进行优化,降低了编解码的复杂度.通过MATLAB软件仿真,实验结果表明,在相同的压缩比限定下,十进量化的SPIHT算法重建图像的峰值信噪比多数时候优于SPIHT算法,编解码耗时相当.

Abstract:A denary quantized SPIHT algorithm was proposed and the fine scanning of SPIHT was optimized to reduce the complexity of coding and decoding by studing on the SPIHT algorithm.By means of the simulation with Matlab,experimental result shows that PSNR of reconstruction image using denary quantized SPIHT algorithm is better than SPIHT algorithm under the same b/p limits while the time consumption of codes is similar.
