Methods are presented that allow for the automatic increase and preservation of symmetry during global optimization of crystal structures. This systematic building of symmetry allows for its incorporation into structure prediction simulations even when the space group information is not known a priori. It is shown that simulations that build and maintain symmetry converge much more rapidly to ground state crystal structures than when symmetry is ignored, allowing for the treatment of unit cells much larger than would otherwise be possible, especially when beginning from the P1 space group.  相似文献

Isospin-dependent Quantum Molecular Dynamics model (IQMD) has been applied to investigate the Pygmy Dipole Resonance (PDR) and Giant Dipole Resonance (GDR) in Ni isotopes by Coulomb excitation. By Gaussian fitting to the photon emission spectra, the peak energies and strengths of PDR and GDR are extracted. Their sensitivities to impact parameter, incident energy and the symmetry energy are discussed. By the comparison of energy-weighted sum rule (EWSR) with the data and other calculations for 68 Ni, the parameters of density-dependence of symmetry energy in the IQMD are constrained. In addition, the N/Z dependence of PDR and GDR parameters of Ni isotopes are investigated, and the results that the EWSR increases linearly with the N/Z are obtained.  相似文献

This paper presents a new 3D instrumented crank prototype for characterization, analysis and validation in race bikes. System characterization throws a maximum linearity error of 0.30% for parallel projection transfer function. Uncertainty values for Monte Carlo method resulted smaller than classic method computations. An experiment was designed with four controlled factors where data obtained fallowed normal distribution. Symmetry and Cadence statistics (RMS, Mean and Variance) were used in ANOVA, showing that Symmetry on outdoor Environment was higher than indoor tests. Heaviest Subject presented greater symmetry, and the Gears increasing prove symmetry rising. The lightest Subject developed higher Cadence values, as also was developed on Indoor Environment. Greater speed was achieved for bigger gears. System variability was observed in ANOVA by Variance variable behavior. Routine programmed obtained useful graphs for sport training: Effective force, Torque and Power output symmetry analysis and Force 3D projection decomposition in crank arm analysis were done.  相似文献

Effects of Near-Fault Ground Shaking on Sliding Systems   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
A numerical study is presented for a rigid block supported through a frictional contact surface on a horizontal or an inclined plane, and subjected to horizontal or slope-parallel excitation. The latter is described with idealized pulses and near-fault seismic records strongly influenced by forward-directivity or fling-step effects (from Northridge, Kobe, Kocaeli, Chi-Chi, Aegion). In addition to the well known dependence of the resulting block slippage on variables such as the peak base velocity, the peak base acceleration, and the critical acceleration ratio, our study has consistently and repeatedly revealed a profound sensitivity of both maximum and residual slippage: (1) on the sequence and even the details of the pulses contained in the excitation and (2) on the direction (+ or ?) in which the shaking of the inclined plane is imposed. By contrast, the slippage is not affected to any measurable degree by even the strongest vertical components of the accelerograms. Moreover, the slippage from a specific record may often be poorly correlated with its Arias intensity. These findings may contradict some of the prevailing beliefs that emanate from statistical correlation studies. The upper-bound sliding displacements from near-fault excitations may substantially exceed the values obtained from some of the currently available design charts.  相似文献

The construction of symmetric and symplectic exponentially fitted modified Runge–Kutta–Nyström (SSEFRKN) methods is considered. Based on the symmetry, symplecticity, and exponentially fitted conditions, new explicit modified RKN integrators with FSAL property are obtained. The new integrators integrate exactly differential systems whose solutions can be expressed as linear combinations of functions from the set { exp(± iωt)}, ω > 0, i2 = −1, or equivalently from the set { cos(ωt), sin(ωt)}. The phase properties of the new integrators are examined and their periodicity regions are obtained. Numerical experiments are accompanied to show the high efficiency and competence of the new SSEFRKN methods compared with some highly efficient nonsymmetric symplecti EFRKN methods in the literature.  相似文献
