Good water-impermeable barrier function is vital for healthy skin. Abnormality of the barrier function is observed in a variety of skin diseases, such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and contact dermatitis. Moreover, repeated barrier disruption induces epidermal hyperplasia and inflammation. On the other hand, acceleration of the barrier recovery prevents epidermal hyperplasia induced by barrier disruption in a dry environment. Thus, methods to improve the barrier function are very important for clinical dermatology. Recently, we have been searching for new reagents and/or new materials to improve barrier homeostasis. In this review, I will describe our recent findings and show how they provide the basis for a new perspective for clinical dermatology.  相似文献

The TRP1 gene of the yeast Kluyveromyces lactis has been cloned from a genomic library by complementation of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae trp1-289 mutation. The gene was located within the clone by transposon mutagenesis and the coding region identified by DNA sequencing. This has indicated that K. lactis TRP1 encodes a 210-amino acid polypeptide which shows 53% identity to the homologous S. cerevisiae protein. The K. lactis TRP1 gene has been disrupted by substituting the S. cerevisiae URA3 gene for a large part of the TRP1 coding sequence. Replacement of the chromosomal TRP1 locus with this construction has enabled the production of non-reverting trp1- strains of K. lactis, while a genetic analysis of the disrupted allele confirmed that the TRP1 gene had been cloned. DNA sequencing has also shown that the K. lactis TRP1 sequence is flanked by genes encoding inorganic pyrophosphatase and histone H3, which we have designated IPP and HHT1 respectively. Hybridization studies have shown that in common with S. cerevisiae, K. lactis has two copies of the histone H3 gene. Each H3 gene is closely linked to a gene encoding histone H4 and in both yeast species the IPP gene is tightly linked to one of the histone gene pairs.  相似文献

大规模MIMO技术是5G的关键技术之一,其原理是当基站天线数量远远大于终端天线数量的时候,基站到各个用户之间的干扰趋于消失,为更好地应用大规模MIMO技术提升系统容量和用户频谱效率,3GPP对相关技术进行了标准化。首先介绍了3GPP在Rel15阶段对大规模波束赋形的传输方案和波束管理等关键技术的标准化情况,然后重点分析描述了Rel16阶段大规模MIMO的增强技术,包括多点(TRP)/多面板(panel)发送以及多波束发送等关键技术,未来大规模MIMO的发展趋势将根据实际应用部署对相关的技术做进一步增强。  相似文献

The Pichia pastoris TRP1 and HIS3 genes were cloned by complementation of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae trp1 and his3 mutants, respectively, and their nucleotide sequence was determined. The P. pastoris TRP1 gene includes an open reading frame (ORF) of 714 nucleotides corresponding to a polypeptide of 237 amino acids whose sequence shares about 40% identity with that of TRP1 encoding proteins in other yeast species. DNA sequencing showed that an ORF of 858 nucleotides, encoding a protein of 285 amino acids with high homology to inorganic pyrophosphatases (IPP1), is located downstream of the P. pastoris TRP1 gene. Both genes converge in this chromosomal region, showing a genetic organization analogous to that found in the Kluyveromyces lactis genome. The P. pastoris HIS3 gene possesses an ORF of 675 nucleotides, encoding a polypeptide of 224 amino acids which shows 74·1% identity to the homologous S. cerevisiae protein. The hexameric consensus GCN4 binding sequence (TGACTC), characteristic of many amino acid biosynthetic genes, is present in the promoter region. The TRP1 and IPP1 sequences were deposited in the EMBL databank under Accession Number AJ001000. The Accession Number of the HIS3 gene is U69170. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In the mobile environment, the dropped calls can be resulted from shadowing and rapid signal loss. As the cells shrink to accommodate an increasingly large demand for services, the dropped-call recovery procedure will become more important over the air interface. But in the current protocols, the recovery procedure is too simple to demonstrate the procedure. In this paper, we present a Transparent Reconnection Procedure (TRP) which is an efficient algorithm that can be adapted easily to the benefit of decreased dropped calls. In the simulation of a typical cellular system, it is shown that there are fewer dropped calls using TRP compared to the conventional procedure. This benefit comes at the expense of a slight increase (less than percent 1) in blocked call percentage. It depends on some relevant system parameters, the values of which are decided by the operators accordingly.  相似文献

Cisplatin and oxaliplatin are treatment options for a variety of cancer types. While highly efficient in killing cancer cells, both chemotherapeutics cause severe side effects, e.g., peripheral neuropathies. Using a cell viability assay, a mitochondrial stress assay, and live-cell imaging, the effects of cis- or oxaliplatin on the mitochondrial function, reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, and mitochondrial and cytosolic calcium concentration of transient receptor potential ankyrin 1 (TRPA1)- or vanilloid 1 (TRPV1)-positive dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons of adult Wistar rats were determined. Mitochondrial functions were impaired after exposure to cis- or oxaliplatin by mitochondrial respiratory chain complex I-III inhibition. The basal respiration, spare respiratory capacity, and the adenosine triphosphate (ATP)-linked respiration were decreased after exposure to 10 µM cis- or oxaliplatin. The ROS production showed an immediate increase, and after reaching the peak, ROS production dropped. Calcium imaging showed an increase in the cytosolic calcium concentration during exposure to 10 µM cis- or oxaliplatin in TRPA1- or TRPV1-positive DRG neurons while the mitochondrial calcium concentration continuously decreased. Our data demonstrate a significant effect of cis- and oxaliplatin on mitochondrial function as an early event of platinum-based drug exposure, suggesting mitochondria as a potential target for preventing chemotherapy-induced neuropathy.  相似文献
