In the present work, nitrogen doped hierarchically activated porous carbon (APC) samples have been synthesized via single step scalable method using ethylene di-amine tetra acetic acid (EDTA) as precursor and KOH as activating agent. Activated porous carbons with different pore sizes have been developed by varying the activation temperature. SEM, TEM and SAXS analysis suggest that with variation of activation temperature, a hierarchical porous structure with interconnected meso-pore and micro pores has been achieved. The sufficiently high surface area of the synthesized materials provides active sites to enhance the diffusion of ions between the electrolyte and the carbon electrodes. The electrode prepared at 800 °C activated sample exhibited highest specific capacitance of 274 Fg-1 in two electrode setup, at a current density of 0.1 Ag-1 in 1 M aqueous H2SO4. Along with this, it showed maximum energy density of 9.5 Whkg?1 at a power density of 64.5 Wkg-1. The remarkable electrochemical performance reveals that the synthesized nitrogen doped activated carbon electrodes derived from EDTA can be tuned to have optimum pore structure and pore size distribution for better electrochemical performance, so it can be considered as a potential electrode material for applications in electrochemical energy storage. 相似文献

为研究桂林地区红黏土中化学成分Fe2O3、Al2O3、SiO2含量对其界限含水率的影响,分别采用蒸馏水和乙二胺四乙酸二钠(EDTA二钠)浸泡红黏土土样,对不同浸泡时间的土样进行化学成分XRF测定,同时进行界限含水率测试和比重试验。通过回归分析和路径分析,建立了以Fe2O3、Al2O3、SiO2含量为变量的红黏土界限含水率和相对密度的非线性回归模型,红黏土液限与塑限之间、塑性指数与液限之间以及相对密度与塑限之间的线性回归模型,红黏土Fe2O3、Al2O3、SiO2含量与液限、塑限、塑性指数和相对密度之间的路径模型,并分析了化学成分对红黏土界限含水率的影响。 相似文献

研究了高分子重金属絮凝剂(PEX)对镍离子螯合能力的大小,以含镍水样作为处理对象,通过一系列试验证明:PEX对镍离子的螯合能力强,生成的螯合体溶解度小,对低浓度的镍离子废水处理效果好。废水中一定量的EDTA或Ca2+的存在,不仅不会影响PEX对镍离子的去除,而且会大大促进这一过程。 相似文献

The ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) titration method limits the measurement of calcium concentration to 50 mg/l in water. However, various acids and salt solutions are used in the investigation of the durability of concrete, and the adaptability of the EDTA titration method to determine the calcium in these solutions must be investigated. Hence, the purpose of this study was to investigate the interfering effects of hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, sodium chloride and sodium sulfate on measuring the calcium in the aqueous leaching solutions using the EDTA titration method. The calcium standard solutions were prepared using CaCl2 with initial pH from −0.8 to 7 and calcium concentration up to 160 mg/l. Sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid were used to prepare calcium solutions with lower pH. Salt solutions with 3% NaCl and 3% Na2SO4 were used to evaluate the interfering effects of salt elements such as sulfate and sodium on the EDTA titration. Results indicated that the EDTA titration method was reliable in measuring the calcium up to 160 mg/l, the maximum concentration investigated in this study, in hydrochloric acid with pH higher than zero and 3% sodium chloride solution. Sulfuric acid with pH higher than zero and 3% sodium sulfate solutions showed 3% to 4% less calcium in the solutions. The oxidative deterioration of milk emulsions supplemented with 1.5 wt‐% fish oil was investigated by sensory evaluation and by determining the peroxide value and volatile oxidation products after cold storage. Two types of milk emulsions were produced, one with a highly unsaturated tuna oil (38 wt‐% of n‐3 fatty acids) and one with cod liver oil (26 wt‐% of n‐3 fatty acids). The effect of added calcium disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate (EDTA) on oxidation was also investigated. Emulsions based on cod liver oil with a slightly elevated peroxide value (1.5 meq/kg) oxidised significantly faster than the tuna oil emulsions, having a lower initial peroxide value (0.1 meq/kg). In the tuna oil emulsions the fishy off‐flavour could not be detected throughout the storage period. Addition of 5—50 ppm EDTA significantly reduced the development of volatile oxidation products in the cod liver oil emulsions, indicating that metal chelation with EDTA could inhibit the decomposition of lipid hydroperoxides in these emulsions. This study showed that an oxidatively stable milk emulsion containing highly polyunsaturated tuna fish oil could be prepared without significant fishy off‐flavour development upon storage, provided that the initial peroxide value was sufficiently low. 相似文献
