Cephalotanins A–D,Four Norditerpenoids Represent Three Highly Rigid Carbon Skeletons from Cephalotaxus sinensis

Four polycyclic norditerpenoids, cephalotanins A–D ( 1 – 4 ) representing three unprecedented carbon skeletons with highly rigid ring systems, were isolated from Cephalotaxus sinensis and structurally characterized by a combination of various methods. Compounds 1 and 2 are new skeletal norditerpenoid trilactones, while 3 and 4 are two norditerpenoids featuring different new carbon skeletons. Biosynthetic pathways for 1 – 4 were proposed by involving diverse and very fascinating chemical events with the coexisting cephalotane troponoids as the precursors. Compound 1 exhibited good NF‐κB inhibition with an IC₅₀ value of 4.12±0.61 μΜ.

Synthesis of Multifluoromethylated γ-Sultines by a Photoinduced Radical Addition–Polar Cyclization

Despite the significance of sultines in synthesis, medicine, and materials science, the chemistry of sultines has remained unexplored due to their inaccessibility. Herein, we demonstrate the development of a photoredox-catalyzed multifluoromethyl radical addition/SO₂ incorporation/polar cyclization cascade approach to multifluoromethylated γ-sultines. The reactions proceed by single electron transfer induced multifluoromethyl radical addition to an alkene followed by SO₂ incorporation, and single-electron reduction for polar 5-exo-tet cyclization. Key to the success of the protocol is the use of easily oxidizable multifluoroalkanesulfinates as bifunctional reagents. The reactions proceed with excellent functional-group tolerance to deliver γ-sultines in moderate to excellent yields.     

Stereoselective Synthesis of the O-antigen of A. baumannii ATCC 17961 Using Long-Range Levulinoyl Group Participation

Herein, we described the first synthesis of the pentasaccharide and decasaccharide of the A. baumannii ATCC 17961 O-antigen for developing a synthetic carbohydrate-based vaccine against A. baumannii infection. The efficient synthesis of the rare sugar 2,3-diacetamido-glucuronate was achieved using our recently introduced organocatalytic glycosylation method. We found, for the first time, that long-range levulinoyl group participation via a hydrogen bond can result in a significantly improved β-selectivity in glycosylations. This solves the stereoselectivity problem of highly branched galactose acceptors. The proposed mechanism was supported by control experiments and DFT computations. Benefiting from the long-range levulinoyl group participation strategy, the pentasaccharide donor and acceptor were obtained via an efficient [2+1+2] one-pot glycosylation method and were used for the target decasaccharide synthesis.     

C3对称性含膦三足体衍生物及其Eu(Ⅲ)配合物的合成以及与DNA相互作用的研究

设计合成了一种新的C3对称性含膦三足体衍生物N',N',N'-三(亚磷酸三乙酯)缩氨三乙酸(L)及其Eu(Ⅲ)配合物.用1H NMR、13C NMR、红外光谱、元素分析、差热-热重及紫外光谱对其组成和结构进行分析和表征.结果表明,三足体衍生物与稀土苦味酸盐(Eu(pic)3·6H2O)形成了1:1配合物Eu(pic)3L.综合运用紫外-可见吸收光谱法、荧光光谱法和循环伏安法研究了Eu(pic)3L与小牛胸腺DNA之间的结合模式,结果表明,配合物Eu(pic)3L与DNA之间以嵌插形式发生相互作用.将该配合物作为杂交探针,对其在DNA电化学传感器方面的应用进行了探讨.结果发现,该配合物在修饰单链DNA的电极检测作用下,无明显的电化学信号响应,而当将其用于检测杂交双链DNA时,出现了明显信号,并且该配合物的DNA传感器对互补序列、错配序列及非互补序列都有良好的选择作用.     

Isomerization of Secondary Phosphirane into Terminal Phosphinidene Complexes: An Analogy between Monovalent Phosphorus and Transition Metals

Secondary phosphirane complexes isomerize above 100 °C to give the corresponding terminal phosphinidene complexes, which can be trapped by alkenes and alkynes. This reaction is a rare instance of the isomerization of a P^III derivative into a P^I derivative. It appears to mimic the reductive elimination of alkanes from transition‐alkylmetal hydrides.
