A series of new iridium complexes with 5-acetyl-2-phenylpyridine derivatives as ligands was developed. The complexes exhibited high EL performance when applied to OLEDs. These materials showed red emission with a peak at 575–636 nm. In particular, one of the devices in this study showed a maximum luminous efficiency, maximum power efficiency, external quantum efficiency and CIE coordinates of 29.0 cd/A, 6.13 lm/W, 8.86% at 20 mA/cm2 and (0.57, 0.43) at 10 V, respectively. In addition, a deep red OLED with CIE coordinates of (0.67, 0.32) at 10 V exhibited a maximum luminous efficiency, maximum power efficiency and external quantum efficiency of 5.61 cd/A, 1.02 lm/W and 5.35% at 20 mA/cm2, respectively.  相似文献

Tuning the electronic band structures such as band-edge position and bandgap of organic semiconductors is crucial to maximize the performance of organic photovoltaic devices. We present a simple yet effective electron irradiation approach to tune the band structure of [6, 6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) that is the most widely used organic acceptor material. We have found that the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) level of PCBM up-shifts toward the vacuum energy level, while the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) level down-shifts when PCBM is electron-irradiated. The shift of the HOMO and the LUMO levels increases as the irradiated electron fluence increases. Accordingly, the band-edge position and the bandgap of PCBM can be controlled by adjusting the electron fluence. Characterization of electron-irradiated PCBM reveals that the variation of the band structure is attributed to the molecular structural change of PCBM by electron irradiation.  相似文献

The authors demonstrated phosphorescent white organic light-emitting diodes (PHWOLED) with mixed electron transporting layers (M-ETL) using 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (BPhen)/4,4′-bis (carbazol-9-yl)biphenyl (CBP). The M-ETL PHWOLED exhibited the optimum balance of holes and electrons, owing to the low electron mobility of the CBP M-ETL. The optimized PHWOLED showed a peak current efficiency of 16.85 cd/A and a peak external quantum efficiency of 7.32%.  相似文献

U-lines have been adopted in many manufacturing settings as part of JIT implementation. In this paper, we examine the applicability of existing straight-line heuristics for obtaining a balance on a U-line. We modify 13 single-pass heuristics and study the effectiveness of various heuristics under different problem conditions. An extensive computational study is carried out to help identify the best heuristics. In addition, we compare recent U-line procedures with a single-pass heuristic using some literature problems. Based on a single-pass heuristic, we compare the configurations of a straight- and U-line.  相似文献

In this research, design factors for a heat exchanger and boiler were investigated using a simplified model of a heat exchanger and pilot condensing boiler, respectively. Specifications of each heat exchanger component (e.g., upper heat exchanger (UHE) and lower heat exchanger (LHE); coil heat exchanger (CHE); baffles) were investigated using a model apparatus, and the comprehensive performance of the pilot gas boiler was examined experimentally. The heating efficiency of the boiler developed was about 90% when using the optimal designed heat exchangers. Compared to a conventional Bunsen-type boiler, the heating efficiency was improved about 10%. Additionally, NOx and CO emissions were about 30 ppm and 160 ppm, respectively, based on a 0% O2 basis at an equivalence ratio of 0.70, which is an appropriate operating condition. However, the pollutant emission of the boiler developed is satisfactory considering the emission performance of a condensing boiler, even though CO emission must be reduced.  相似文献

To clarify the effect of chemical structure of Dimethyl ether(DME) on NOx formation in nonpremixed counterflow flame, DME flame was investigated numerically to compare the flame structures and NOx emissions with C2H6 and Mixed-fuel. Numerically, the governing equations were solved using the Oppdif code coupled with CHEMKIN package, and DME flames were calculated by Kaiser’s mechanism, while the C2H6 flames and Mixed-fuel flames were calculated by the C3 mechanism. These mechanisms were combined with the modified Miller-Bowman mechanism for the analysis of NOx. Numerical results of nonpremixed counterflow flames show that the EINO of DME nonpremixed flame is low as much as 50 % of the C2H6 nonpremixed flame. The cause of EINO reduction is attributed mainly to the characteristics of partial premixed flame due to the existence of oxygen atom in DME and partly to the O-C bond in DME, instead of C-C bond in hydrocarbon fuels. Chang-Eon Lee received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Inha University, Korea, in 1983 and 1985, respectively. Then he received his Ph.D. degree from Toyohashi National University of Technology, Japan in 1992. Dr. Lee is currently a Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering at Inha University in Incheon, Korea. He serves as an Editor of the Journal of the Korean society of combustion and serves as an associate Editor of Transactions of the Korean society of mechanical engineers. Blended, grafted, and plasma-treated modified PVCs are described for various medical applications. This study experimentally examined a cylindrical multi-hole premixed burner for its potential use for a condensing gas boiler, which produces less NOx emissions and performs better. In this study, the hole diameters and the arrangement of a multi-hole burner were investigated using a flat burner model. The combustion characteristics for the flame stability as well as the NOx and CO emissions were examined using a cylindrical burner. For an optimal operating condition, the equivalence ratio for the cylindrical burner was between 0.70 and 0.75. For this condition, the turn-down ratio was 3:1 or higher, which was suitable for appropriate control of the boiler operation. The NOx and CO emissions were less than 40 ppm and less than 30 ppm, respectively, for a 0% O2 basis. The LPG and LNG were able to be used in this type of burner because there was no phenomenal difference in the stable combustion region between them.  相似文献

PURPOSE: To investigate the efficacy of permanent amniotic membrane transplantation (AMT) for the treatment of various ocular surface diseases. METHODS: The medical records of 62 eyes from 58 patients who had undergone permanent AMT were reviewed. The amniotic patches were grafted for the treatment of neurotrophic ulcers (n=15), inflammatory corneal ulcers (n=15), scleral ulcers (n=11), painful bullous keratopathy (n=8) and pterygium as an adjuvant to a conjunctival autograft (n=13). Cryo-preserved or freeze-dried amniotic membrane (AM) were used. The overall success rate, the interval to epithelialization, pain-subsiding time, and complications were evaluated. The pain relief and the full epithelialization interval in the bullous keratopathy patients given the cryo-preserved AM were compared with those given the freeze-dried AM. RESULTS: The success rate in the patients with neurotrophic ulcer, inflammatory corneal ulcer, scleral ulcer and bullous keratopathy were 93.3%, 66.7%, 92.9% and 100%, respectively. A conjunctival autograft with AMT showed a 100% success rate without recurrence. The time to re-epithelialization was 24.4+/-24.2, 20.4+/-5.8, and 16.9+/-7.0 days in patients with neurotrophic, inflammatory and scleral ulcers, respectively (p=0.431). The pain relief interval in the cryo-preserved and freeze-dried AM group was 17.7 and 23.3 days, and the re-epithelialization interval was 29 and 22 days, respectively, which was insignificant. CONCLUSIONS: AMT has a high success in the treatment of neurotrophic, scleral ulcer, bullous keratopathy and pterygium with a low rate of complications but presented only partial success in the treatment of inflammatory corneal ulcers. The clinical efficacy of AMT was not related to the methods used to preserve the AM.  相似文献
