Resveratrol Butyrate Esters Inhibit BPA-Induced Liver Damage in Male Offspring Rats by Modulating Antioxidant Capacity and Gut Microbiota

Resveratrol can affect the physiology or biochemistry of offspring in the maternal–fetal animal model. However, it exhibits low bioavailability in humans and animals. Fifteen-week SD pregnant female rats were orally administered bisphenol A (BPA) and/or resveratrol butyrate ester (RBE), and the male offspring rats (n = 4–8 per group) were evaluated. The results show that RBE treatment (BPA + R30) compared with the BPA group can reduce the damage caused by BPA (p < 0.05). RBE enhanced the expression of selected genes and induced extramedullary hematopoiesis and mononuclear cell infiltration. RBE increased the abundance of S24-7 and Adlercreutzia in the intestines of the male offspring rats, as well as the concentrations of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) in the feces. RBE also increased the antioxidant capacity of the liver by inducing Nrf2, promoting the expression of HO-1, SOD, and CAT. It also increased the concentration of intestinal SCFAs, enhancing the barrier formed by intestinal cells, thereby preventing BPA-induced metabolic disruption in the male offspring rats, and reduced liver inflammation. This study identified a potential mechanism underlying the protective effects of RBE against the liver damage caused by BPA exposure during the peri-pregnancy period, and the influence of the gut microbiota on the gut–liver axis in the offspring.     

Genome-Wide Analysis Identified a Set of Conserved lncRNAs Associated with Domestication-Related Traits in Rice

Crop domestication, which gives rise to a number of desirable agronomic traits, represents a typical model system of plant evolution. Numerous genomic evidence has proven that noncoding RNAs such as microRNAs and phasiRNAs, as well as protein-coding genes, are selected during crop domestication. However, limited data shows plant long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are also involved in this biological process. In this study, we performed strand-specific RNA sequencing of cultivated rice Oryza sativa ssp. japonica and O. sativa ssp. indica, and their wild progenitor O. rufipogon. We identified a total of 8528 lncRNAs, including 4072 lncRNAs in O. rufipogon, 2091 lncRNAs in japonica rice, and 2365 lncRNAs in indica rice. The lncRNAs expressed in wild rice were revealed to be shorter in length and had fewer exon numbers when compared with lncRNAs from cultivated rice. We also identified a number of conserved lncRNAs in the wild and cultivated rice. The functional study demonstrated that several of these conserved lncRNAs are associated with domestication-related traits in rice. Our findings revealed the feature and conservation of lncRNAs during rice domestication and will further promote functional studies of lncRNAs in rice.     

天然藻类对废水中 COD 的去除效率研究

目前废水中COD的处理问题是我国乃至世界各国普遍关注的问题,找到一种操作简单、成本低且效果好的处理方法是解决问题的关键所在。利用天然藻类中绿藻、硅藻处理不同类型废水,以COD作为检测指标。结果表明,绿藻对废水中COD的去除率最高。同时探讨了不同初始浓度的COD、不同种类废水中COD的去除效率。     

Brittle precision cropping of metal materials

In this paper, different methods to implement brittle precision cropping of metal materials are discussed in an all-around way. On this basis, a new kind of brittle precision cropping method, called low impact stress cropping method (LISC), is developed. Taking advantage of the effects of notch and speed, this method, in the sensitive stress state established by an appropriate way of loading, can make the material separate quickly and regularly. It has the advantages of being high in efficiency and accuracy, low in energy consumption and easy to use in production. It can be used directly in precision billet production for cold-extrusion, etc. This method, from a general point of view, opens a new technical branch for engineering application of fracture mechanics. The basic theory, technical key points, as well as the equipment for practical realization of this method are discussed in detail in this paper.     

基于主题短语的搜索引擎结果聚类

为了解决搜索引擎检索结果中的主题混杂现象,帮助用户快速准确地定位到有价值的信息,提出基于主题短语的搜索引擎结果聚类方法。首先从检索结果中提取查询词并与相邻词语组成主题短语,建立包含高频独立词语及主题短语的混合向量空间模型,同时引入同义词词林对特征项进行语义扩充,最后采用改进的k-means聚类算法对搜索结果进行聚类,并为各个类别提取类别标签。实验结果表明,该算法能有效提高聚类结果的准确率。     

燃煤电厂风冷干式排渣技术及其工程应用

介绍了风冷干式排渣系统的主要技术特点、主要设备、工艺流程以及在电厂中的应用情况,着重介绍了这项技术在电厂中节水、节能和环保方面的意义和作用,为电厂真正实现工业废水的“零排放”目标提供了新的途径。文中还列举了应用示例,并进行了技术经济分析。示例表明,该项技术的应用是成功的。

Lagrangean relaxation approach to joint optimization for production planning and scheduling of synchronous assembly lines

This paper focuses on simultaneous optimisation of production planning and scheduling problem over a time period for synchronous assembly lines. Differing from traditional top-down approaches, a mixed integer programming model which jointly considers production planning and detailed scheduling constraints is formulated, and a Lagrangian relaxation method is developed for the proposed model, whereby the integrated problem is decomposed into planning, batch sequencing, tardiness and earliness sub-problems. The scheduling sub-problem is modelled as a time-dependent travelling salesman problem, which is solved using a dynasearch algorithm. A proposition of Lagrangian multipliers is established to accelerate the convergence speed of the proposed algorithm. The average direction strategy is employed to solve the Lagrangian dual problem. Test results demonstrate that the proposed model and algorithm are effective and efficient.
