Use of oxygen for the cleaning, passivation, and preservation of power-generating equipment at the Kharanorskaya SAPP

Automation of broad sanity test generation

The technology for the broad generation of sanity tests for complex software developed in the Institute for System Programming (Russian Academy of Sciences) is presented. This technology is called Azov; it is based on using a database containing structured information about the interface operations of the system under test and on a procedure for enriching this information by refining constraints imposed on parameter types and results of operations. Results of a practical application of this technology prove its high efficiency in generating sanity tests for systems with a large number of functions.     

Optimization of glass annealing

An algorithm was developed for calculating optimal glass annealing schedules for batch-type and continuous annealing units subject to the capabilities of a particular unit and the constraints imposed by temporary and residual stresses. The criterion chosen for the optimization is the throughput of the annealing unit which is in turn determined by the duration of the annealing operation or the rate of travel of the ware through the annealing lehr.     

Adequacy of mathematical models of the glassware annealing process

The adequacy of the previously developed mathematical model of the glass tube annealing process is experimentally confirmed. The model is refined with respect to annealing of construction glass blocks by taking into account the effect of the barometric rarefaction inside the glass block air cavity on the process of the origin and distribution of stresses in the article, and the adequacy of the refined model is experimentally proved.
