The aim of this paper is to study the electrochemical behavior of Si-C material synthesized by heating a mixture of silicon and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) in the ratios of 5, 20, and 50 wt%. The particle size of the synthesized material was found to be increased with increase in the PVDF ratio. The coexistence of silicon with carbon was confirmed from the XRD analysis. A field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) study performed with the material proved the improvement in coating efficiency with increase in the PVDF ratio. Coin cells of the type 2025 were made by using the synthesized material, and the electrochemical properties were studied. An electrode was prepared by using the developed Si-C material. Si-C|Li cells were made with this electrode. A charge|discharge test was performed for 20 cycles at 0.1 C hour rate. Initial charge and discharge capacities of Si-C material derived from 20 wt% of PVDF was found to be 1,830 and 526 mAh|g, respectively. Initial charge/discharge characteristics of the electrode were analyzed. The level of reversible specific capacity was about 216mAh/g at Si-C material derived from 20 wt% of PVDF, initial intercalation efficiency (IIE), intercalation efficiency at initial charge/discharge, was 68%. Surface irreversible specific capacity was 31 mAh/g, and average specific resistance was 2.6 ohm * g.  相似文献

A new anode composition comprising SiO and graphite(C) is prepared through a high-energy ball milling process. During the first cycle, the anode delivers high discharge and charge capacity values of 1556 and 693 mAh g−1, respectively. The electrode shows a reversible charge capacity value of 688 mAh g−1 at the 30th cycle with 99% Coulombic efficiency. X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that ball milling does not produce any new compound, but only causes a reduction in particle size. The irreversible and reversible capacities appear to be interdependent.  相似文献

An important requirement in a military domain is a highly reliable mobility management method, especially when components of the networks are moving in tactical network environments. To increase reliability, the mobility management technology of the tactical network should be able to reflect the characteristics of the tactical network, such as a limited environment, failure, and hierarchical unit structure. In this paper, we propose a proxy-based hierarchical distributed mobility management scheme, which is highly focused on tactical networks. Considering the characteristics of tactical networks, the proposed scheme is composed of the following: 1) a proxy-based method, 2) a distributed mobility management method that synchronizes a mobility database between entities, and 3) a method of managing mobility by dividing the tactical network into upper and lower layers. Mathematical analysis and modeling and simulation results demonstrate that the method outperforms the existing state-of-the-art method in overcoming entity failure, handover cost, and delay in tactical environments.  相似文献

Headspace volatiles of sesame oil (SO) from sesame seeds roasted at 9 different conditions were analyzed by a combination of solid phase microextraction (SPME)-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS), electronic nose/metal oxide sensors (MOS), and electronic nose/MS. As roasting temperature increased from 213 to 247 °C, total headspace volatiles and pyrazines increased significantly (P < 0.05). Pyrazines were major volatiles in SO and furans, thiazoles, aldehydes, and alcohols were also detected. Roasting temperature was more discrimination factor than roasting time for the volatiles in SO through the principal component analysis (PCA) of SPME-GC/MS, electronic nose/MOS, and electronic nose/MS. Electronic nose/MS showed that ion fragment 52, 76, 53, and 51 amu played important roles in discriminating volatiles in SO from roasted sesame seeds, which are the major ion fragments from pyrazines, furans, and furfurals. SO roasted at 213, 230, and 247 °C were clearly differentiated from each other on the base of volatile distribution by SPME-GC/MS, electronic nose/MOS, and electronic nose/MS analyses. Practical Application: The results of this study are ready to apply for the discriminating samples using a combinational analysis of volatiles. Not only vegetable oils prepared from roasting process but also any food sample possessing volatiles could be targets for the SPME-GC/MS and electronic nose assays. Contents and types of pyrazines in sesame seed oil could be used as markers to track down the degree of roasting and oxidation during oil preparation.  相似文献

A new anode composite material is prepared by thermal treatment of a blend made of silicon monoxide (SiO) and lithium hydroxide (LiOH) at 550 °C followed by ball milling with graphite. X-ray diffraction pattern confirms the presence of Li4SiO4 in the thermally treated (SiO + LiOH) material. The electrode appears to be smooth and glassy as evident from observation with a scanning electron microscope (SEM), possibly due to the presence of nano-silicon and Li4SiO4 particles, and exhibits superior performance with a charge capacity of ∼333 mAh g−1 at the 100th cycle with a low-capacity fade on cycling. Cyclic voltammograms of the electrode predict high power capability. On the other hand, the electrode comprising of only SiO and C prepared through ball milling, devoid of Li4SiO4, shows hard crust particulates in the electrode exhibiting low charge–discharge capacities with cycling.  相似文献

A solid polymer electrolyte chemically bonded to a π-conjugated polymer was prepared for the use as a designed ladder-type structure by the graft copolymerization of poly (aminobenzyl alcohol) (PABA) with poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG). PABA was used as the frame for the ladder and the PEG as the rungs. The expected synergic effect afforded by the introduction of the ionic salts into the crosslinked conjugated polymer and PEG network was investigated as a function of its structure, morphology, and ionic conductivity. The insertion of the ionic salts into the PABA-PEG-PABA network led to the enhancement of the ionic conductivity compared to that of PEG/LiClO4. The synergic effect may be explained by the more efficient segmental motion of the polymer chains or better ion mobility in the network due to the interrupted crystallization of the PEG chains. The fine tuning of the crosslinked conjugated polymer gel might enable it to show a faster response to electrochemical stimuli.  相似文献

Preparation of TiO2 and SiO2 films for optical applications was attempted using conventional rf magnetron sputtering in the sputtering ambient with various O2/Ar+O2 ratios and at substrate temperatures between room temperature and 400 °C. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and optical spectroscopy investigations indicated that oxygen addition in the sputtering ambient was essential for growing TiO2 films with stoichiometric compositions and good transmittance, while SiO2 films had a stoichiometric composition of O/Si ratio=2.1-2.2 and were highly transparent in the visible wavelength region, independent of gas composition in the growing ambient. It was also identified from scanning electron microscope (SEM), atomic force microscope (AFM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) measurements that the structural characteristics of both TiO2 and SiO2 films were significantly improved with O2 addition in the sputtering ambient, showing smoother surface morphologies and higher resistances to water absorption when compared with films grown without O2 addition. Heating of the substrate between 200 and 400 °C considerably increased the refractive index of TiO2 layers, resulting in dense structures along with an improvement of crystallinity. For optical applications, AR coatings composed of 2-4 multi-layers on glass were designed and manufactured by stacking in turn the SiO2 and TiO2 films at room temperature and O2/Ar+O2=10%, and the performance of the produced coatings was compared with simulation results.  相似文献

We develop a volumetric video system which supports interactive browsing of compressed time-varying volumetric features (significant isosurfaces and interval volumes). Since the size of even one volumetric frame in a time-varying 3D data set is very large, transmission and on-line reconstruction are the main bottlenecks for interactive remote visualization of time-varying volume and surface data. We describe a compression scheme for encoding time-varying volumetric features in a unified way, which allows for on-line reconstruction and rendering. To increase the run-time decompression speed and compression ratio, we decompose the volume into small blocks and encode only the significant blocks that contribute to the isosurfaces and interval volumes. The results show that our compression scheme achieves high compression ratio with fast reconstruction, which is effective for interactive client-side rendering of time-varying volumetric features.  相似文献
