In this paper, a feedback model predictive control method is presented to tackle control problems with constrained multivariables for uncertain discrete‐time nonlinear Markovian jump systems. An uncertain Markovian jump fuzzy system (MJFS) is obtained by employing the Takagi‐Sugeno (T‐S) fuzzy model to represent a discrete‐time nonlinear system with norm bounded uncertainties and Markovain jump parameters. To achieve more generality, the transition probabilities of the Markov chain are assumed to be partly unknown and partly accessible. The predictive formulation adopts an on‐line optimization paradigm that utilizes the closed‐loop state feedback controller and is solved using the standard semi‐definite programming (SDP). To reduce the on‐line computational burden, a mode independent control move is calculated at every sampling time based on a stochastic fuzzy Lyapunov function (FLF) and a parallel distributed compensation (PDC) scheme. The robust mean square stability, performance minimization and constraint satisfaction properties are guaranteed under the control move for all admissible uncertainties. Physisorption and heat of immersion measurements have been made with two microporous carbons—a sample of charcoal cloth (BET area, 1250 m2 g?1; pore volume, 0.59 cm3 g?1 having predominantly narrow micropores and a sample of Amoco carbon (BET area, 3700 m2 g?1; pore volume, 1.9 cm3 g?1), having a wider distribution of micropores extending into the supermicropore range (pore width, ca. 1–2 nm). The adsorption isotherms of nitrogen and toluene are of Type 1 and reveal that the external surface of both samples is very small. The heat of immersion measurements were carried out with the aid of a Tian-Calvet microcalorimeter and with the following liquids: n-hexane, cyclohexane, neo-hexane, toluene, mesitylene and isodurene. A sample of non-porous graphitized carbon black (Vulcan 3G: BET area, 71.1 m2 g?1) was studied. Immersion calorimetry shows that in spite of the larger adsorptive capacity of the Amoco carbon, the sample of charcoal cloth has a higher adsorption affinity. The differences in the corresponding heats of immersion and in the adsorptive properties indicate that many of the pores in charcoal cloth are slit-shaped, whereas those in the Amoco carbon appear to be more cylindrical in shape.  相似文献

In this paper, the finite-time control problem is investigated for a class of discrete-time Markovian jump systems (MJLSs) with deterministic switching and time-delay. The considered systems are subject to a piecewise-constant transition probability (TP) matrix, which leads to both the deterministic switches and stochastic jumps. First, the stochastic finite-time boundedness (SFTB) and l 2 gain analysis for the systems are studied by employing the average dwell time (ADT) approach. Note that a finite-time weighted l 2 gain is obtained to measure the disturbance attenuation level. Then, the mode-dependent and variation-dependent controller is designed such that the resulting closed-loop systems are stochastically finite-time bounded and have a guaranteed disturbance attenuation level. Finally, a numerical example is given to verify the potential of the developed results.  相似文献

Nowadays, liquid crystal displays (LCDs) with light‐emission are considered as energy‐efficient devices and are promising alternatives to conventional LCDs. To realize such possibility, strong fluorescent materials with a dichroic properties are required. Aggregate‐induced emission (AIE) is an unusual photophysical phenomenon shown by some luminogenic materials that will be highly emissive in their aggregate state. In this work, we studied the AIE effect of a luminescent liquid crystalline molecule TPE‐PPE in our LC system as a luminophore dopant. The result showed the excellent AIE effect that higher concentration of luminogen in the nematic LC host induced stronger luminescent intensity. Through exposure of a photoisomeriable alignment material sulfonic‐dye‐1, the photopatterning of a light‐emitting LC device was achieved with the use of the TPE‐PPE/nematic LC mixture.  相似文献

The ferroelectric liquid crystals, because of their fast electro‐optical response, are one of the most important classes of liquid crystals. Here, in this review, we have summarized the different electro‐optical modes for ferroelectric liquid crystals. Clark–Lagerwall effect (surface stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystal), deformed helix ferroelectric (DHF) effect, electrically suppressed helix (ESH) mode, DHF orientational Kerr effect, and ESH diffraction modes have been discussed. All of the crucial features, that is, optics, electro‐optics, dynamics, and their dependence on material parameters, operational regime, and applications, have been reviewed.  相似文献

Thermal actuated sliders are being widely used in today’s hard disk drive industry for its advantages of easier control of flying height (FH) and less risk of contacts with the disk. This article uses a coupled-field analysis method, which includes an air bearing model, a heat transfer model and a thermal-structural finite element model to investigate the FH changes of thermal actuated sliders at various environmental conditions. The mechanism of water vapour’s contribution to air bearing pressure loss is explained and a new humidity model is proposed to calculate this pressure loss. The temperature effects are also considered in the simulation models. It is observed that the environmental temperature and humidity have significant effects on slider’s FH changes, but their effects on the thermal protrusion height are limited. A humidity sensitivity study is also made and the results are discussed. It is found that the slider with thermal protrusion on its trailing pad will be more sensitive to the humidity. Besides air bearing stiffness, some other factors such as peak pressure, protrusion shape and air bearing surface (ABS) design will also contribute to the slider’s humidity sensitivity.  相似文献

This paper addresses the tracking problem of a class of multi-agent systems under uncertain communication environments which has been modelled by a finite number of constant Laplacian matrices together with their corresponding scheduling functions. Sliding mode control method is applied to solve this nonlinear tracking problem under a time-varying topology. The controller of each tracking agent has been designed by using only its own and neighbours’ information. Sufficient conditions for the existence of a sliding mode control tracking strategy have been provided by the solvability of linear matrix inequalities. At the end of this work, numerical simulations are employed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed sliding mode control tracking strategy.  相似文献

Video servers are essential in video‐on‐demand and other multimedia applications. In this paper, we present our high‐performance clustered CBR video server, Odyssey. Odyssey is a server connecting PCs with switched Ethernet. It provides efficient support for normal play and interactive browsing functions such as fast‐forward and fast‐backward. We designed a set of algorithms for scheduling, synchronization and admission control, which results in a high utilization of resources. Odyssey is able to deliver a large number of video streams.
