This work aims to clarify the photocatalytic degradation mechanism and heat reflectance recovery performance of waterborne acrylic polymer/ZnO nanocomposite coating. To fabricate the nanocomposite coating, ZnO nanoparticles (nano-ZnO) were dispersed into acrylic polymer matrix at the various concentrations from 1 to 6% (by total weight of resin solids). The photocatalytic degradation of nanocomposite coating under ultraviolet (UV) light irradiation has been investigated by monitoring its weight loss and chemical/microstructural/morphological changes. As the topcoat layer, its heat reflectance recovery has been evaluated under UV/condensation exposure by using an artificial dirty mixture of 85 wt% nanoclay, 10 wt% silica particles (1–5 μm), 1 wt% carbon black, and 2 wt% engine oil. After 108-cycle UV/condensation exposure, infrared spectra and weight loss analysis indicated that the maximal degradation for nanocomposite coating is observed at 1 wt% nano-ZnO. On the other hand, after 96 hr of UV light exposure, the nanocomposite coating with1 wt% nano-ZnO could restore effectively the reflective index of solar-heat reflectance coating (from 58.45 to 80.78%). Finally, the photodegradation mechanism of this waterborne acrylic polymer coating has been proposed as the UV-induced formation of CC CO conjugated double bonds. As a result, its self-cleaning phenomenon can be achieved as the recovery of heat reflectance.  相似文献

Variable block-size motion estimation (VBSME) has become an important video coding technique, but it increases the difficulty of hardware design. In this paper, we use inter-/intra-level classification and various data flows to analyze the impact of supporting VBSME in different hardware architectures. Furthermore, we propose two hardware architectures that can support traditional fixed block-size motion estimation as well as VBSME with less chip area overhead compared to previous approaches. By broadcasting reference pixel rows and propagating partial sums of absolute differences (SADs), the first design has the fewer reference pixel registers and a shorter critical path. The second design utilizes a two-dimensional distortion array and one adder tree with the reference buffer that can maximize the data reuse between successive searching candidates. The first design is suitable for low resolution or a small search range, and the second design has advantages of supporting a high degree of parallelism and VBSME. Finally, we propose an eight-parallel SAD tree with a shared reference buffer for H.264/AVC integer motion estimation (IME). Its processing ability is eight times of the single SAD tree, but the reference buffer size is only doubled. Moreover, the most critical issue of H.264 IME, which is huge memory bandwidth, is overcome. We are able to save 99.9% off-chip memory bandwidth and 99.22% on-chip memory bandwidth. We demonstrate a 720-p, 30-fps solution at 108 MHz with 330.2k gate count and 208k bits on-chip memory.  相似文献

Traction forces developed by most cell types play a significant role in the spatial organisation of biological tissues. However, due to the complexity of cell-extracellular matrix interactions, these forces are quantitatively difficult to estimate without explicitly considering cell properties and extracellular mechanical matrix responses. Recent experimental devices elaborated for measuring cell traction on extracellular matrix use cell deposits on a piece of gel placed between one fixed and one moving holder. We formulate here a mathematical model describing the dynamic behaviour of the cell-gel medium in such devices. This model is based on a mechanical force balance quantification of the gel visco-elastic response to the traction forces exerted by the diffusing cells. Thus, we theoretically analyzed and simulated the displacement of the free moving boundary of the system under various conditions for cells and gel concentrations. This model is then used as the theoretical basis of an experimental device where endothelial cells are seeded on a rectangular biogel of fibrin cast between two floating holders, one fixed and the other linked to a force sensor. From a comparison of displacement of the gel moving boundary simulated by the model and the experimental data recorded from the moving holder displacement, the magnitude of the traction forces exerted by the endothelial cell on the fibrin gel was estimated for different experimental situations. Different analytical expressions for the cell traction term are proposed and the corresponding force quantifications are compared to the traction force measurements reported for various kind of cells with the use of similar or different experimental devices.  相似文献

PURPOSE: The activity of Al3+, Ga3+, and Be2+ ions in the presence of NaF to directly activate G-proteins was investigated by their potentiative effect on forskolin (FSK)-activated adenylyl cyclase in rabbit ciliary process membranes and their effects on aqueous humor dynamics in vivo. METHODS: Adenylyl cyclase (AC) was determined by radiometric conversion of ATP to cAMP by the particulate fraction of rabbit ciliary processes. Intravitreal injections of sterile solutions of analytical grade salts were made into the center of the vitreous in a volume of 20 microliters. Intraocular pressure, aqueous humor flow, and uveoscleral outflow measurements were made by pneumatonometry, fluorophotometry, and fluorescein-dextran method, respectively. Outflow facility was determined by tonography in the intact eyes and by two-level constant pressure perfusion in cannulated eyes. RESULTS: Both Al3+ (EC50, 40 mumol/l) and Be2+ (EC50, 11 mumol/l) in the presence of 0.5-2 mM NaF activated the stimulatory G-protein Gs. Ga3+ was ineffective and did not antagonize the activation by Al3+. Intravitreal injections of Al3+ (1 mumol/eye) or Be2+ (0.5 or 1 mumol/eye) had no significant intraocular pressure (IOP) effect, nor did 1.5 or 3 mumol/eye of NaF, but when either cation was injected together with NaF, IOP decreased by up to 40% for up to 140 hr. At the time of maximum IOP effect (72 hr) aqueous humor flow determined by fluorophotometry was decreased in BeCl2+ NaF-treated eyes by 40% relative to BeCl2-treated eyes; however, tonographic facility of outflow was unaffected. Uveoscleral flow was also decreased by 38% in BeCl2+ NaF treated eyes. CONCLUSIONS: These findings support the hypothesis that Gs activation of ciliary process adenylyl cyclase decreases aqueous humor formation rate in rabbit eyes, and that activation of G-proteins mediates contraction of ciliary muscles causing a decrease of aqueous humor outflow via the uveoscleral route. The results suggest that G-proteins putatively involved in trabecular facility changes are less sensitive to activation by BeF3- than are other parameters of aqueous humor dynamics.  相似文献

TiO2 nanotubes can be prepared in gram quantities by treating anatase TiO2 powder with concentrated NaOH solution. These TiO2 nanotubes acquired strong acidity after being impregnated with sulfuric acid solution and calcined at 300 °C. The anatase TiO2 powder used to prepare the nanotube did not catalyze the esterification between cyclohexanol and acetic acid, while sulfated TiO2 nanotubes were very reactive toward the esterification reaction.  相似文献

The solid-state phase transitions in ammonium nitrate (AN)-potassium nitrate (KN) system, and the equilibrium AN-KN phase diagram have been determined by using differential scanning calorimetry and high-temperature in situ x-ray diffractometry. Sample preparation was performed in a special “dry room” with very low humidity. A single phase region (AN III) with no phase transitions to 373 K was observed in the composition range 5 to 20% KN; this is critical for use in air bag gas generators. The high-temperature KN phase (KN I) has a wide range of stability from 20 to 100 wt.% KN. There are one eutectic, two eutectoid, three peritectoid, and one congruent transformations in this phase diagram. Two new nonstoichiometric phases were found at lower temperatures in the mid-composition range between the AN and KN terminal solid solutions. Details of the phase equilibria are presented.  相似文献
