In this paper, a multiproduct inventory control problem is considered in which the periods between two replenishments of the products are assumed independent random variables, and increasing and decreasing functions are assumed to model the dynamic demands of each product. Furthermore, the quantities of the orders are assumed integer-type, space and budget are constraints, the service-level is a chance-constraint, and that the partial back-ordering policy is taken into account for the shortages. The costs of the problem are holding, purchasing, and shortage. We show the model of this problem is an integer nonlinear programming type and to solve it, a harmony search approach is used. At the end, three numerical examples of different sizes are given to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed methodology in real world inventory control problems, to validate the results obtained, and to compare its performances with the ones of both a genetic and a particle swarm optimization algorithms.  相似文献

Bridge infrastructure managers are facing multiple challenges to improve the availability and serviceability of ageing infrastructure, while the maintenance planning is constrained by budget restrictions. Many research efforts are ongoing, for the last few decades, ranging from development of bridge management system, decision support tools, optimisation models, life cycle cost analysis, etc. Since transport infrastructures are deeply embedded in society, they are not only subject to technical requirements, but are required to meet the requirements of societal and economic developments. Therefore, bridge maintenance planning should accommodate multiple performance goals which need to be quantified by various performance indicators. In this paper, an application of Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) for bridge maintenance planning is illustrated with a case study of bridges from the Netherlands road network. MAUT seeks to optimise multiple objectives by suggesting a trade-off among them and finally assigns a ranking to the considered bridges. Moreover, utility functions of MAUT appropriately account for the involved uncertainty and risk attitude of infrastructure managers. The main contribution of this study is in presenting a proof-of-concept on how MAUT provides a systematic approach to improve the decision-making of maintenance planning by making use of available data, accommodating multiple performance goals, their uncertainty, and preferences of infrastructure managers.  相似文献

The effects of low-energy (≤2 kV) Ar+ irradiation on the optical and structural properties of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanowires (NWs) grown by a simple and cost-effective low-temperature technique were investigated. Both photoluminescence spectra from ZnO NW-coated films and cathodoluminescence analysis of individual ZnO NWs demonstrated obvious evidences of ultraviolet/visible luminescent enhancement with respect to irradiation fluence. Annihilation of the thinner ZnO NWs after the ion bombardment was appreciated by means of high-resolution scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), which results in an increasing NW mean diameter for increasing irradiation fluences. Corresponding structural analysis by TEM pointed out not only significant changes in the morphology but also in the microstructure of these NWs, revealing certain radiation-sensitive behavior. The possible mechanisms accounting for the decrease of the deep-level emissions in the NWs with the increasing irradiation fluences are discussed according to their structural modifications.  相似文献

A new surface modification protocol encompassing an anodization treatment has been developed to improve the surface properties of biomedical titanium. Anodization in presence of nickel sulfate is one of a good way to improve the resistance of commercial pure titanium (cp‐Ti) in phosphate saline buffer solution (PSB). The potentiostatic behavior of anodized titanium in sulfuric acid with nickel sulfate differed markedly from that of titanium anodized in sulfuric acid free from nickel sulfate. Polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) recorded an increase in the corrosion resistance of the passive film. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy diffraction X‐ray (EDX) analysis were used to investigate the morphology and structure of the anodized film in absence and in presence of nickel sulfate. On the other hand, sealed anodized titanium samples exposed to PSB for up to 3 days have been studied by EIS to obtain detailed information concerning the electrochemical properties of sealed anodized titanium. An equivalent circuit that reproduces the impedance results of porous cp‐Ti oxide (TiO2) films is proposed. These observations indicate that anodization of cp‐Ti in presence of nickel sulfate and sealing the anodized film can serve as a simple low‐temperature method to enhance the corrosion resistance of cp‐Ti when used as an implant material.  相似文献

A A cerium-based chemical conversion process was studied. First, zinc coating obtained from a free-cyanide alkaline bath, with derivative of imidazol with new brightener, was investigated, zinc-plated steel specimens were treated with a solution of 50 mmol· L^-1 Ce(NO3 )3 The corrosion behavior of bare and treated mild galvanized steel was evaluated during exposure to 0.5 mol · L^-1 NaCl for different immersion time, using Tafel polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements. The surface morphology of the coating was studied using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The composition and chemical percent of the coating were examined by X-ray dispersion energy (EDAX). The results of these measurements showed that the newly developed cerium-based conversion coating process was a promising candidate for replacing the conventional chromate treatments used at present for galvanized steel.  相似文献

Introduction End‐stage renal disease (ESRD) patients especially those undergoing dialysis are vulnerable to several complications, in particular those related to oxidative stress. Silymarin is an herbal medicine commonly used as an antioxidant in different pathologies. Methods To evaluate the effect of silymarin on biochemical and oxidative stress markers, 50 ESRD patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis were randomly divided into two groups of silymarin (n = 28) and control (n = 22) and received silymarin (140 mg every 8 hours) or placebo for 2 months, respectively. Ferric reducing antioxidant power and total 8‐iso‐prostaglandin F were measured in plasma, while catalase enzyme activity was measured in erythrocytes of both groups before and after treatment. Findings Ferric reducing antioxidant power values after treatment were significantly decreased in silymarin group compared to before treatment values (17.2 ± 2.9 and 15.9 ± 3.1 µM equivalent of quercetin/dL, respectively, P < 0.05). Conversely, catalase levels were increased 17.3% after silymarin consumption, while it was decreased 9.1% in control group. Further, hemoglobin (from 10.94 ± 2.17 to 11.54 ± 2.03 g/dL, P < 0.05) and albumin levels (from 3.48 ± 0.67 to 3.61 ± 0.53 g/dL, P < 0.05) were significantly increased after silymarin administration. Discussion It is concluded that silymarin could be regarded as a supplementary therapy for ESRD patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis in order to reduce complications.  相似文献

In present work, the concentrations of toxic elements, aluminium (Al), cadmium (Cd), nickel (Ni) and lead (Pb) were measured in different solid baby foods (BFs), primarily to evaluate whether the intakes comply within permissible levels of these toxic elements (TEs). The BFs were evaluated for total contents of TEs, using a simple and fast ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) method. The accuracy of the proposed UAE method was ensured by using certified reference materials and results obtained by conventional wet acid digestion method on same CRM, at 95% confidence level. The range of the investigated TEs in different BFs were 4770–35,200, 25.6–88.3, 124–332 and 52.5–90.6 μg/kg for Al, Cd, Ni and Pb, respectively. The results indicated that BFs including rice cereals have high level of all four TEs. The daily intakes of TEs for children through BFs have also been estimated, and are well below the recommended tolerable levels.  相似文献

Zinc oxide films have been prepared via spray pyrolysis using a perfume atomizer. ZnCl2 has been used as precursor. The influence of the precursor solution and dopant concentration has been investigated. Homogeneous films are obtained with a precursor concentration ranging between 0.3 and 0.4 M and a SnCl2 dopant concentration of 1–2%. The films exhibit broad band gaps and small conductivity. The microstructural properties of these films have been compared with that of films deposited using a classical nozzle. Films deposited by perfume atomizer are rougher, with smaller grain size, compared to films deposited with a classical nozzle.  相似文献
