Total conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) concentrations increased 1.32 fold in salted and 1.27 in unsalted butter but did not alter the ratio of 9-cis 11-trans to total CLA. Nonfat yogurt showed an increase in CLA content with processing (5.25 mg total CLA/g fat) compared to unprocessed raw material (4.40 mg CLA/g fat). No changes in CLA content was observed in processed dairy products such as lowfat yogurt, regular yogurt, lowfat and regular ice cream, sour cream or cheeses such as Mozzarella, Gouda and Cheddar. Storage did not affect CLA concentration in any products suggesting that CLA is a stable component.  相似文献

To overcome the problem of enzyme extraction and poor permeability of cell membrane to lactose, permeabilized Kluyveromyces marxianus NCIM 3465 cells as a source of β‐D‐galactosidase were employed for the production of lactose‐hydrolyzed milk. In view of the advantages of an immobilized cell system over a free cell system, the yeast cells were entrapped in alginate gel for their subsequent use in lactose hydrolysis. Different process parameters (alginate concentration, bead size, biomass load, temperature, agitation and incubation time) were monitored to enhance lactose hydrolysis in milk. Maximum lactose hydrolysis (87.9%) was observed with yeast cells immobilized in 2% (w/v) alginate concentration with a bead size of 2.90 mm at 30C under agitation (80 rpm) after 150 min of incubation. The developed system was highly stable and the alginate entrapped yeast cells can be recycled up to the eight cycle without any marked change in their ability to carry out the lactose hydrolysis.  相似文献

Microstructure, electrical properties and dielectric behaviour of K1/2Na1/2NbO3 (KNN) and CaTiO3-modified K1/2Na1/2NbO3 (CTO-KNN) systems, were investigated. Discs doped with 0 to 0·55% mol of CaTiO3 (CTO) were sintered at 1125°C for 2 h. Although minority phases were found in doped samples, CaTiO3 was not detected. It was also observed that CTO changed the microstructure and grain size of KNN drastically. Also, the Curie temperature and permittivity values decreased. Addition of CTO between 0·15 and 0·45 mol% decreases the density and dielectric values. Samples prepared with higher content of CTO than 0·45 mol% showed better electrical properties.  相似文献

The stannous-stannic equilibrium in binary alkali silicate and ternary silicate glasses was studied by equilibrating glassmelts with air at 1400°C. The Sn2+-Sn4+ equilibrium shifts more toward the oxidized state with increasing ionic radii of the alkali ions or with increasing concentration of the alkali ions in the same series of glasses. The slope of the straight lines obtained on plotting log (Sn4+)/(Sn2+)( pO2 )n/2 vs mol% R2O increased in the order Li→Na→K. In ternary silicate glasses having the base glass composition 20Na2O·10RO·70SiO2, the Sn2+-Sn4+ equilibrium shifts more toward the reduced state, with increasing bond strength between the divalent cations and the nonbridging oxygens. With increasing temperature, the equilibrium shifts more toward the reduced state.  相似文献

Equilibrium phase diagrams for the systems MgCl2-MgF2, CaCl2-MgF2 and NaCl-MgF2 were determined by differential thermal analysis, thermal analysis, and temperature-composition equilibrium techniques. Simple eutectics were observed at 78.0±0.5 mol% MgCl2 and 628°±2°C in the MgCl2-MgF2 system, at 87.5±0.5 mol% CaCl2 and 694°±2°C in the CaCl2-MgF2 system, and at 95.5±0.5 mol% NaCl and 786°±3°C in the NaCl-MgF2 system. The phase diagrams determined for these systems were compared with phase diagrams that were computed using Temkin's model. The phase diagrams of the CaCl2-MgF2 and NaCl-MgF2 systems were also compared with diagrams that were computed using the expression suggested by Flood et al. for reciprocal systems. The experimentally determined and computed phase diagrams agreed for the MgCl2-MgF2 system but not for the CaCl2-MgF2 and NaCl-MgF2 systems.  相似文献

We construct a multiqueue model of high fidelity for detailed performance evaluation of flexible machine centres. These models permit one to represent part type specific demand, processing, and setup time values, and to obtain part type specific performance figures. We show through numerical examples that variabilities in system parameters can induce paradoxical system behaviour. We also present an enhanced model which concerns a workpiece undergoing several operations at the work centre, and its application to evaluate alternative schedul ing strategies.  相似文献
