Forty-seven strains of Aspergillus oryzae isolates from Korean nuruks were compared for their brewing characteristics. A. oryzae YI-A6 and YI-A7 showed the highest acid α-amylase, glucoamylase, and carboxypeptidase activities, respectively. Sixteen isolates with high amylolytic or proteolytic enzyme activities were selected for investigation of their rice wine fermentation characteristics. After 12 days of brewing at 15°C, ethanol concentrations were 10.2–14.3% for A. oryzae strains. Fermentation rates were the highest for YI-A7. Most rice wine samples fermented with nuruk strains had lower concentrations of off-flavor compounds than the control did. All mean sensory attribute values significantly differed among samples. Pearson correlation coefficients showed that glucoamylase activity was positively correlated to both ethanol productivity and overall harmony (p<0.01). Thus, glucoamylase activity was identified as the best factor for screening Aspergillus strains for use in rice wine brewing.  相似文献

Piezoresistive properties of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) filled with copper particles in volume fraction above the electrical percolation threshold (25.3–50.7 vol%) were investigated. Piezoresistive behavior of the PDMS-copper composites under compressive pressure showed not only a change in resistance by approximately six orders of magnitude (∼1.5 MPa), but also a change in the critical pressure due to variations in the hardness of the composites. Resistivity relaxation was observed near the critical pressure and was explained through a stress relaxation and percolation mechanism. The mean tunneling distance was calculated by using a theoretical equation for percolation under compression. When the gauge factors of the composites were plotted versus strain, a universal curve was obtained regardless of the copper contents. Finally, the PDMS-copper composite demonstrated good repeatability, showing only small differences in the relative resistance after five successive tests.  相似文献

This paper presents the design of a digital PLL which uses a high-resolution time-to-digital converter (TDC) for wide loop bandwidth. The TDC uses a time amplification technique to reduce the quantization noise down to less than 1 ps root mean square (RMS). Additionally TDC input commutation reduces low-frequency spurs due to inaccurate TDC scaling factor in a counter-assisted digital PLL. The loop bandwidth is set to 400 kHz with a 25 MHz reference. The in-band phase noise contribution from the TDC is -116 dBc/Hz, the phase noise is -117 dBc/Hz at high band (1.8 GHz band) 400 kHz offset, and the RMS phase error is 0.3deg.  相似文献

Objective

To investigate the effect of inter-operator variability in arterial input function (AIF) definition on kinetic parameter estimates (KPEs) from dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) MRI in patients with high-grade gliomas.

Methods

The study included 118 DCE series from 23 patients. AIFs were measured by three domain experts (DEs), and a population AIF (pop-AIF) was constructed from the measured AIFs. The DE-AIFs, pop-AIF and AUC-normalized DE-AIFs were used for pharmacokinetic analysis with the extended Tofts model. AIF-dependence of KPEs was assessed by intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) analysis, and the impact on relative longitudinal change in Ktrans was assessed by Fleiss’ kappa (κ).

Results

There was a moderate to substantial agreement (ICC 0.51–0.76) between KPEs when using DE-AIFs, while AUC-normalized AIFs yielded ICC 0.77–0.95 for Ktrans, kep and ve and ICC 0.70 for vp. Inclusion of the pop-AIF did not reduce agreement. Agreement in relative longitudinal change in Ktrans was moderate (κ = 0.591) using DE-AIFs, while AUC-normalized AIFs gave substantial (κ = 0.809) agreement.

Discussion

AUC-normalized AIFs can reduce the variation in kinetic parameter results originating from operator input. The pop-AIF presented in this work may be applied in absence of a satisfactory measurement.

Dynamic operation is known as one of the factors for accelerating chemical degradation of the polymer electrolyte membrane in a polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). However, little effort has been made dealing with the quantification of the degradation process. In this investigation, cyclic current operation is carried out on a fuel cell system, and the frequency effect of cyclic operation on chemical degradation is investigated. The dynamic behavior of a fuel cell system is analyzed first with the modified Randles model, where the charge double layer is modeled by three components; a charge transfer resistance (Rct), and two RC cells for the Warburg impedance. After calculating each parameter value through exponential curve fitting, the dynamic behaviors of the three components are simulated using MATLAB Simulink®. Fluoride release as a function of the frequency of cyclic operation is evaluated by measuring the concentration of fluoride ion in effluent from a fuel cell exhaust. The frequency effect on chemical degradation is explained by comparing the simulated results and the fluoride release results. Two possible reasons for the accelerated degradation at cyclic operation are also suggested.  相似文献

Watershed-scale modeling can be useful in identifying the main environmental factors and the physical mechanisms responsible for acid mine drainage (AMD) formation, attenuation, and impacts. Since flow rates and water quality of the AMD and receiving streams are related to the rainfall-runoff relationship and associated contaminant dissolution, we thought that hydrologic analysis of the mined area and surrounding drainage basin should be the starting point in documenting the source and fate of AMD contaminants. Further modeling of AMD pollutants could then be performed in terms of metal concentrations and loading at the watershed scale. In this study, monitoring was conducted in the Geopung mine watershed; the watershed analysis risk management framework (WARMF) model was used to evaluate the effect of AMD contributions to downstream metal concentrations. The hydrologic model of the basin was calibrated and verified with rainfall and streamflow data, and the water quality model was calibrated for the dissolved concentrations of metals (Cd, Cu, Zn, and Pb), using discharge data gathered in 2009. There was a strong correlation (r = 0.93) between the observed and simulated runoff values plus high Nash–Sutcliffe model efficiency (NSE = 0.89) and low average percent difference between predicted and measured values (%Diff = 0.46). Subsequent model validation using data gathered in 2010 also showed good agreement (%Diff = 9.76; NSE = 0.77; r = 0.91) between the observed and simulated values. For the metals, the model was calibrated using data from 2010; the correlation between the observed and simulated values was quite good (r = 0.80–0.41).  相似文献
