An adaptive notch filter for suppressing mechanical resonance in high track density disk drives 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In disk drive servo system, a notch filter is usually used to suppress mechanical resonance of an actuator. However, the resonance frequency differs from drive to drive due to manufacturing tolerance and varies with temperature even within a single drive. In this paper, we present an adaptive digital notch filter that can identify the resonance frequency of the actuator quickly and can adjust automatically its center frequency. For the fast identification of resonance frequency, a new estimation filter and its tuning algorithm are developed. Also, we give a rigorous analysis for the convergence of our tuning algorithm. We furthermore present some experimental results using a commercially available hard disk drive in order to demonstrate the practical use of our work. 相似文献

The precipitation characteristics of nickel hydroxide as well as carbonate and sulfide were studied to determine the proper
treatment condition of the wastewater induced from nickel-plating industry. When the pH value was maintained higher than 10,
the nickel concentrations in the effluent could be kept lower than 5 mg/l. The precipitation of nickel salts in the model
wastewater was conducted by alkaline addition, such as the uses of sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate
and sodium sulfide. In case of sulfide treatment, the nickel concentration of treated wastewater showed the lowest value after
the removal of precipitates. The change of particle size of the crystal precipitates by the precipitation conditions and precipitants
was also investigated. In spite of the various precipitation conditions that were adopted, the change of particle size of
the crystal precipitates showed no great differences. The settling rates of the precipitated particles were observed and the
free settling period was terminated within 20 minutes. Although the hindered settling as well as bed compaction progressed
subsequently, the bed heights were maintained almost the same level after few hours later 相似文献

Though a buckling-restrained brace (BRB) has good seismic performance, it cannot dissipate energy under wind loads or weak earthquakes because its core does not yield. A hybrid buckling-restrained brace (H-BRB), which is a type of hybrid damping system consisting of a BRB member and a viscoelastic damper, has been proposed to improve the wind-resisting performance of the standard BRB. In order to evaluate the wind and seismic performance of the H-BRB system, two H-BRB specimens and one BRB specimen were tested in this study. The variable for the wind performance test was the shear action mechanism of the viscoelastic damper with and without a side connection plate, and the variable for the seismic performance test was whether a separation occurred between the steel tube and a stopper after the yielding of the steel core. The wind performance test showed that H-BRB’s mechanism could be realized only when the viscoelastic damper operated with double shear action. Also, the seismic performance test demonstrated that H-BRB could satisfy the required performance when the tube and stopper were separated after the core’s yielding. 相似文献

It is necessary to test it on a dummy coil, before using a magnet power supply (MPS) to energize a Poloidal Field (PF) coil in the Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research (KSTAR) device. The dummy coil should accept the same large current from the MPS as the PF coil and be within the capability of the utilities located at the KSTAR site. Therefore a coil design based on the characteristics of the MPS and other restrictive conditions needed to be made. There are three requirements to be met in the design: an electrical requirement, a structural requirement, and a water cooling requirement. The electrical requirement was that the coil should have an inductance of 40 mH. For the structural requirement, the material should be non magnetic. The coil support structure and water cooling manifold were made of SUS 304. The water cooling requirement was that there should be sufficient flow rate so that the temperature rise ΔT should not exceed 12 °C for operation at 12.5 kA for 5 min. Square cross-section hollow conductor with dimensions of 38.1 mm × 38.1 mm was used with a 25.4 mm center hole for cooling water. However, as a result of tests, it was found that the electrical and structural requirements were satisfied but that the water cooling was over designed. A separate effect test was performed on the cooling behavior in a PWR core under a low reflooding rate condition by using the ATLAS (Advanced Thermal–Hydraulic Test Loop for Accident Simulation) which is a thermal–hydraulic integral effect test facility for the pressurized water reactors APR1400 and OPR1000. Although several integral tests for the reflood phase of a large break loss of coolant accident (LBLOCA) of APR1400 have been performed with the ATLAS, the previous integral effect tests for the reflood phase of a LBLOCA are not easily simulated by existing codes, such as the RELAP5/MOD3, due to a unique phenomena in ATLAS, that resulted from an injection of large amount of subcooled water onto the heated wall of which temperature was higher than the target value. 相似文献

Polyurethane flame retardant coatings are composed of polyols and polyisocyanates. Flame retardant groups are usually introduced
to the polyol structure. In this research intermediates were obtained by esterification of 2,4-dichlorobenzoic acid and trimethylolpropane
for the purpose of introducing a flame retardant group to the polyol structure. Then chlorine-containing modified polyesters
were synthesized by polycondensation of trimethylolpropane, adipic acid, 1,4-butanediol, and the intermediate. The content
of 2,4-dichlorobenzoic acid in the intermediate was varied with 10, 20, and 30 wt%. Two-component polyurethane flame retardant
coatings were prepared by blending the products with polyisocyanate. Various physical properties of these new flame retardant
coatings were comparable to non-flame retardant coatings. They showed drying times of four to seven hours and pot life times
of 14–20 hr, which could belong to the flame retardant coatings with long pot life time. The coating with 30 wt% 2,4-dichlorobenzoic
acid showed a self-extinguishing property in the vertical burning test.

Vibrations related to ride comfort should be considered at the beginning of design stage. In general, ride comfort of human
is mainly affected by vibration transmitted from the floor and seat. Also, vibration level is very important regarding with
running safety on freight wagon. To ensure ride comfort for passenger coach and vibration level for freight wagon, tests had
been repeated by different test procedures with several equipments. With different measuring and evaluations for these results,
it took much time to evaluate test results. In this paper, a new evaluation procedure was developed combining several software
for ride comfort and vibration level test on railway vehicles. In addition, this developed system is capable of ride comfort
test and vibration test by a single integrated system that is capable of immediate reporting the test result. With this developed
system, the comfort in a passenger coach and the vibration in a freight car were evaluated. And the simulation results from
the proposed system are verified by a field test. 相似文献
