A function minimization algorithm that updates solutions based on approximated derivative information is proposed. The algorithm generates sample points with Gaussian white noise, and approximates derivatives based on stochastic sensitivity analysis. Unlike standard trust region methods which calculate gradients with n or more sample points, where n is the number of variables, the proposed algorithm allows the number of sample points M to be less than n. Furthermore, it ignores small amounts of noise within a trust region. This paper addresses the following two questions: how does the derivative approximation become worse when the number of sample points is small? Can the algorithm find good solutions with inexact derivative information when the objective landscape is noisy? Through intensive numerical experiments using quadratic functions, the algorithm is shown to be able to approximate derivatives when M is about n/10 or more. The experiments using a formulation of the traveling salesman problem show that the algorithm can find reasonably good solutions for noisy objective landscapes with inexact derivatives information.  相似文献

We have carried out the optical observation, electrical conductivity and 205Tl NMR measurements, and subsequently investigated the origin of the large conductivity above ferroelastic phase transition temperature Tc (=661 K) on the basis of the domain structure and the crystal structure. Electrical conductivity exhibits the discontinuous increase around Tc with increasing temperature and becomes approximately 5 × 10−3 S m−1 above Tc. Moreover, from the 205Tl NMR measurements, it is found that mobile Tl ions exist above Tc. Furthermore, from the analysis of the domain structure based on the crystal structure in the low-temperature ferroelastic phase, it is also found that the anomalously large fluctuations of SeO4 tetrahedrons exist above Tc. It is deduced from these results that the high electrical conductivity above Tc is caused by the mobile Tl ions closely related to the anomalously large fluctuations of SeO4 tetrahedrons accompanied by the ferroelastic phase transition.  相似文献

Currently, the development of leading‐edge technology for recording and loading human motion on the basis of haptic information is required in the fields of manufacturing and human support. Human movement is an assembly of motion components. Since human movements should be supported by a robot in real time, it is necessary to integrate the motion components that were saved earlier. Once such motion integration is realized, future technology for use in daily human life can be developed. This paper proposes the integrated reproduction of the decomposed components of human motion by using a motion copying system. This system is the key technology for the realization of the acquisition, saving, and reproduction of real‐world haptic information. By using the proposed method, it is possible not only to achieve expert skill acquisition, skill transfer to robots, and power assist for each motion component, but also to open up new areas of applications. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Members of the bacterial genus Bdellovibrio include strains that are free-living whereas others are known to invade and parasitize larger Gram-negative bacteria. The bacterium can synthesize several sphingophospholipid compounds including those with phosphoryl bonds as well as phosphonyl bonds. In the present study, the dominant sphingophosphonolipid component was isolated by column chromatography, and the long-chain bases, fatty acids, and polar head groups were identified by thin-layer and gas-liquid chromatographic procedures. The definitive structural identity of the sphingolipid was established by nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectrometry of hydrolysis products and the intact compound. The compound was identified as N-2′-hydroxypentadecanoyl-2-amino-3,4-dihydroxyheptadecan-1-phosphono-(1-hydroxy-2-aminoethane).  相似文献

Porous hydroxyapatite (HAp) ceramics possessing well-controlled porosities and pore sizes were developed by firing apatite-fiber compacts mixed with carbon beads and agar. The total porosities could be controlled in the range from 40 to 85% by varying compaction pressure (20-40 MPa), firing temperature (1000-1300 degrees C) and carbon/HAp ratio (0/10-10/10 (w/w)). Most of the pores were regarded as open pores. The pore sizes were mainly affected by the carbon-bead diameter (5, 20 or 150 microm) and partly by the compaction pressure and the firing temperature. The pore sizes of the porous HAp ceramics derived from the carbon beads of 150 microm in diameter were distributed in the two separate ranges of several micrometers and more than 100 microm.  相似文献

A large number of 3D models are created on computers and available for networks. Some content-based retrieval technologies are indispensable to find out particular data from such anonymous datasets. Though several shape retrieval technologies have been developed, little attention has been given to the points on human's sense and impression (as known as Kansei) in the conventional techniques, In this paper, the authors propose a novel method of shape retrieval based on shape impression of human's Kansei. The key to the method is the Gaussian curvature distribution from 3D models as features for shape retrieval. Then it classifies the 3D models by extracted feature and measures similarity among models in storage.  相似文献

In industry, temperature control and heat flow control are now applied in many thermal devices, including Peltier devices, which facilitates heat transfer by the Peltier effect. Generally, temperature control compensates for heat flowing from the external environment, while heat actively flows into the system during heat flow control. Thus, temperature control and heat flow control differ from each other. However, there have been no detailed discussions of a thermal control process in which the thermal conductance control ranges between 0 and . This paper focuses on thermal conductance control and the construction of a thermal conductance control system for a Peltier device using a heat disturbance observer. When using the thermal conductance controller, the thermal conductance control is altered and the system becomes thermally compliant with the external environment. The damage caused by an earthquake-induced landslide can generally be classified as either a limited deformation or a catastrophic failure. From an engineering point of view, the latter can be much more dangerous because the sliding mass may continue moving until it collides with another object. If a catastrophic failure occurs near a river, the debris may block the river, causing serious damage to the adjacent area. Therefore, examination of the mechanism of such catastrophic slope failures is important with respect to the mitigation of earthquake disasters in mountainous districts, although numerical modeling of such phenomena is rather difficult. In the present study, a new numerical model is developed to simulate an earthquake-induced catastrophic landslide that occured at a typical dip slope, namely, the Yokowatashi Landslide in Japan. In this case, the upper part of the bedrock on the planer tectonic dip surface slid more than 70 m. Only shear-strength degradation at the bedding plane could cause such a long-distance traveling failure. To investigate the strain-softening characteristics of the materials that filled the bedding plane, a series of laboratory tests involving undisturbed block samples was performed. The measured stress-displacement relationships under cyclic loading were numerically modeled as a newly proposed elasto-plastic constitutive model to be used in numerical simulations of landslide, based on the dynamic finite element method. The observed phenomena were appropriately simulated by the proposed method. The mechanism of catastrophic failure is discussed in detail in this paper in order to clarify the relationships between the strain-softening characteristics and the global slope stability. Our newly proposed method to evaluate the possibility of a catastrophic failure was applied to the landslide, and the moment when the slope becomes unstable was able to be predicted. The results confirm that the proposed method can predict the catastrophic failure of a slope.  相似文献

以三倍体毛白杨为研究对象,进行了常规硫酸盐法蒸煮。采用酶-弱酸解两段法分别从原料和KP纸浆中分离出原料木素和纸浆残余木素。采用酸析法从KP蒸煮黑液中分离出溶出木素样品,经过弱酸水解得到纯木素试样。通过凝胶渗透色谱分析(GPC),对所有试样分别进行了分子质量的检测,得出各种木素样品的分子质量及其分布,分析了木素溶出过程中的分子质量的变化。通过磷谱核磁共振31P-NMR技术得出木素结构谱图,对原料木素、纸浆残余木素和黑液溶出木素结构中各官能团进行了定量分析对比,研究了木素结构在KP蒸煮过程中的变化规律。  相似文献

The derivatives of dimethyl-2-(phenylcarbamoyl)ethylsulfonium p-toluenesulfonates were synthesized and evaluated for antiallergic activity. The 2,3-dihydroxyethoxy group was introduced to the phenyl ring from the standpoint of lipophilicity and electronic effects of substituent. The IgE-induced rat passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) was inhibited by oral administration of several substituted 2-[(4-propoxyphenyl)carbamoyl]ethyldimethylsulfonium p-toluenesulfonate derivatives. Among them (+/-)-2-[N-[4-(3-ethoxy-2-hydroxypropoxy)phenyl]carbamoyl]ethyldimeth ylsulfonium p-toluenesulfonate (1a, IPD-1151T) was found to possess considerable activity in the PCA test, and it was launched as Suplatast tosilate in Japan.  相似文献
