This paper deals with the problem of designing a robust static output feedback controller for polytopic systems. The current research that tackled this problem is mainly based on LMI method, which is conservative by nature. In this paper, a novel approach is proposed, which considers the design space of the controller parameters and iteratively partitions the space to small simplexes. Then, by assessing the stability in each simplex, the solution space for design parameters is directly determined. It has been theoretically proved that, if there exists a feasible solution in the design space, the algorithm can find it. To validate the result of the proposed approach, comparative simulation examples are given to illustrate the performance of the design methodology as compared to those of previous approaches.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new online identification approach for evolving Takagi–Sugeno (TS) fuzzy models. Here, for a TS model, a certain number of models as neighboring models are defined and then the TS model switches to one of them at each stage of evolving. We define neighboring models for an in-progress (current) TS model as its fairly evolved versions, which are different with it just in two fuzzy rules. To generate neighboring models for the current model, we apply specially designed split and merge operations. By each split operation, a fuzzy rule is replaced with two rules; while by each merge operation, two fuzzy rules combine to one rule. Among neighboring models, the one with the minimum sum of squared errors – on certain time intervals – replaces the current model.To reduce the computational load of the proposed evolving TS model, straightforward relations between outputs of neighboring models and that of current model are established. Also, to reduce the number of rules, we define and use first-order TS fuzzy models whose generated local linear models can be localized in flexible fuzzy subspaces. To demonstrate the improved performance of the proposed identification approach, the efficiency of the evolving TS model is studied in prediction of monthly sunspot number and forecast of daily electrical power consumption. The prediction and modeling results are compared with that of some important existing evolving fuzzy systems.  相似文献

Emerging soft ionotronics better match the human body mechanically and electrically compared to conventional rigid electronics. They hold great potential for human-machine interfaces, wearable and implantable devices, and soft machines. Among various ionotronic devices, ionic junctions play critical roles in rectifying currents as electrical p–n junctions. Existing ionic junctions, however, are limited in electrical and mechanical performance, and are difficult to fabricate and degrade. Herein, the design, fabrication, and characterization of tough transient ionic junctions fabricated via 3D ionic microgel printing is reported. The 3D printing method demonstrates excellent printability and allows one to fabricate ionic junctions of various configurations with high fidelity. By combining ionic microgels, degradable networks, and highly charged biopolymers, the ionic junctions feature high stretchability (stretch limit 27), high fracture energy (>1000 Jm−2), excellent electrical performance (current rectification ratio >100), and transient stability (degrade in 1 week). A variety of ionotronic devices, including ionic diodes, ionic bipolar junction transistors, ionic full-wave rectifiers, and ionic touchpads are further demonstrated. This study merges ionotronics, 3D printing, and degradable hydrogels, and will motivate the future development of high-performance transient ionotronics.  相似文献

Project-based joint ventures (a special type of alliance) are an often-used method to form competitive organizational structures in the global market; they allow participants to quickly assemble project-needed assets on a short-term basis without substantial investment. However, published discussions of joint ventures describe mixed success and focus on factors that affect the ventures after they are formed. This paper exposes factors, which may be observed at joint venture inception, that are predictive of organizational success within the joint venture. The survey research of U.S. architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) firms indicates that smaller partners in a joint venture experience more market growth and are more successful. Also, a firm with strength in legitimacy (client trust) is more likely to gain in short-term income but will likely suffer some long-term market loss in comparison to its less-legitimized partners. It is further concluded that culture match among partners plays a significant role in ensuring profitable joint venture returns.  相似文献

There is a need to control the spatio-temporal release kinetics of growth factors in order to mitigate current usage of high doses. A novel delivery system, capable of providing both structural support and controlled release kinetics, has been developed from PLGA microparticles. The inclusion of a hydrophilic PLGA–PEG–PLGA triblock copolymer altered release kinetics such that they were decoupled from polymer degradation. A quasi zero order release profile over four weeks was produced using 10% w/w PLGA–PEG–PLGA with 50:50 PLGA whereas complete and sustained release was achieved over ten days using 30% w/w PLGA–PEG–PLGA with 85:15 PLGA and over four days using 30% w/w PLGA–PEG–PLGA with 50:50 PLGA. These three formulations are promising candidates for delivery of growth factors such as BMP-2, PDGF and VEGF. Release profiles were also modified by mixing microparticles of two different formulations providing another route, not previously reported, for controlling release kinetics. This system provides customisable, localised and controlled delivery with adjustable release profiles, which will improve the efficacy and safety of recombinant growth factor delivery.  相似文献

Nowadays, automatic speech emotion recognition has numerous applications. One of the important steps of these systems is the feature selection step. Because it is not known which acoustic features of person’s speech are related to speech emotion, much effort has been made to introduce several acoustic features. However, since employing all of these features will lower the learning efficiency of classifiers, it is necessary to select some features. Moreover, when there are several speakers, choosing speaker-independent features is required. For this reason, the present paper attempts to select features which are not only related to the emotion of speech, but are also speaker-independent. For this purpose, the current study proposes a multi-task approach which selects the proper speaker-independent features for each pair of classes. The selected features are then given to the classifier. Finally, the outputs of the classifiers are appropriately combined to achieve an output of a multi-class problem. Simulation results reveal that the proposed approach outperforms other methods and offers higher efficiency in terms of detection accuracy and runtime.

We report on the utilization of an ultrathin buffer layer at the organic/organic (O/O) interface to enhance device efficiency in organic light‐emitting diodes. Two different kinds of buffer layers are examined: metal and dielectric. It is shown that employment of an ultrathin Ag layer with a thickness of 1–2 nm enhances the device performance, while a MgF2 dielectric buffer cannot affect the device properties considerably. In particular, the turn‐on voltage of the device with an appropriate buffer layer is reduced about 3 V, its current efficiency increases by a factor of more than three, and the power efficiency increases by a factor of more than five in comparison to the control device when a Ag buffer layer is introduced at the O/O interface. By employment of the buffer layer at the interface, an accumulation of current carriers appears within the device that redistribute the recombination profile toward the interior part of the emissive layer. Also, morphological examinations reveal that distinguishable phase segregation occurs in the blend of the hole‐transport layer. In particular, the polymer component remains at the surface and facilitates the hole transport into the successive layers. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. The insufficient viscoelastic resistance of fiber reinforced plastics can be retrofitted by the addition of more rigid nano fillers to the polymer matrix. In this study, carbon fibers plies were grafted with zinc oxide (ZnO) nano‐rods and the hybridized reinforcement was utilized in laminated composites. Flexural creep tests were carried out using dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) and the time/temperature superposition principle was employed for accelerated testing. To verify the applicability of TTPS, prolonged stress relaxation tests were also carried out in flexural mode. Data from the DMA flexural creep tests revealed that the whiskerization of carbon fibers with ZnO nano rods reduced the creep compliance by 23% at elevated temperatures and prolonged durations. Also, the relaxation data confirmed the applicability of TTPS to these hybrid composites. The stress relaxation modulus improved by 65% in comparison to composites based on neat carbon fibers. POLYM.
